Post 1–Describe you life in one word, then do it in one sentence, then divide your life into three parts and list them, then take one part and describe it in one paragraph.

Post 2–Pick five objects in your house.  What could someone who has never met your family learn about you and your family from those objects(these posts will not be accepted late, we will be connecting these posts to a project we will be starting on Monday).

Blogging Challenge #4 is up.  You must do activity 7 and at least one other activity.  When doing activity 7, make sure you use the special google search tools, and only use a blog that is up to date.

Write a post about the presentation that you are working on.  Keep track of what you accomplished each day, tell the audience about your topic, what problems you had, ideas you had, etc.  When you are all done you willpost your final product on your blog.  This post will not be published until next week…only save it as a draft.

  1. Blogging Challenge #3 is up.  Do Activity #1 and at least one other activity.
  2. Choose three other blogs from the challenge to comment on.  Write a post that includes hyperlinks back to the blogs you read and describe why you chose at least one of them.  Make sure you have a hyperlink in the post that would leave a pingback for the person.
  3. Answer the following question…what are you learning?  You can interpret the question any way you would like.

Bloggish Stuff

1-Sign up for the blogging challenge here.  Then go to this week’s challenge which can be found here. Do one of the activities that are listed.  There is quite a variety.  Do one or more of the activities listed.

2-Write a post that answers the following question:
Did George Washington really cut down a cherry tree as a young boy?

Start off with a summary of the story, a full explanation of whether or not it is true, and the sources that you used to make your conclusion.  Also tell your readers why you think a story like this would have been told and has been around so long!

Remember to include an image and hyperlink in any post you write. All posts are always due by the end of the day Saturday unless otherwise noted.

Somehow between book fair visits, picture day, and fire drills we will finish setting up the blogs.

Monday–Review what images you can and cannot use from the internet.  Each part of your post this week must have an image.  If you use an image improperly it will be deleted.  Finish the writing portion of your post and add images.

Tuesday–Each part of your post must have a hyperlink.  Today add hyperlinks and finish up adding any images.  Make sure each image links back to source and hyperlinks go to correct site.  Use spell check!!

Wednesday–Share About me posts with the class.

Thursday and Friday–the mother of blog quizzes…wha ha ha ;)

The book fair, fire drills, and photo day will all mess with classes this week.  Each class will fall behind a day at some point.  The above order might not fit day-by-day for your class, but we will follow the order of events above.
