Today started of  like a normal day. I got up eat some lunch then watched a little bit of t.v. My parents were in a rush to get to work so i was left home all day because it was christmad break which was a little longer this year. Around 10:00- 10:30 i felt a little rumble follwed by a huge hole in the ground that was soon formed. Knowing that today was sopposed to be judgement day, i ran out the door. As I entered the freezing California air I saw everything that I wished i never saw. Tornadoes plowing them selves through houses, lightning stricking every bit of land, even snow started piling up at least 2 feet. Soon after, I realized today was the day that I am and so is everyone else in the world was going to die.

Your should believe in loose construction meaning the federal government could take  responsable actions that wasnt forbided by the constitution. Strict construction is when you can only do what the contitution stated.  If you follwed loose construction then you could build things like banks to help the economy just how george washington did. Elastic clause was in article 1 section 8 stating you can only do it under limited circumstances.

Old people s treasures

by on Dec.08, 2010, under Uncategorized

In this picture it shows how the white house is shaped like an old roman architecture.  Romans used carvings, skylights, columms and white stones to create old banks, chruched ect. In this picture you can see the use of white stones and the columms that support the white house. With out the many feutures that the romans, and greeks used by creating many buildings then we wouldnt have many landmarks. For example if the romens and greeks didnt create the columms then how would the white house be built?

Movie Making Time

by on Nov.18, 2010, under Uncategorized

So in class we have been going over the constitution and our group read section 1 artcle 5. It pretty much stated that every household is to have a judge who is in charge to make the final punishment. Our group made a movie based on that topic. It was extremly difficuilt to finalize. We had to find pictures to go with our story, then we had to place them on movie maker in cronological order, then we had to add our lines, then music and when its all done we still had to go back and fix things that werent perfect. But throughout the project we learned alot and we learned how to work together as one whole group.

U.S Constitution

by on Nov.11, 2010, under Uncategorized

The U.s Constitution consited on 10 rules, or aka The Bill Of Rights. The ten rules is the freedom of speech, press and religion, The right to keep and bear arms, the right of search and seizure regulated, provisons concerning prosercution, the right to a speedy trial and witnesses, excessive bail, and punishment, rule of construction of constitution and the right of the states under constitution.
In the news one rule could be connected to the excessive bail, and cruel punishment. A guy has been caught for breaking and entering and he killed the people in the house and so his punishment is to get elexucuted.
So the rules were ment to make the United States a better place/p>

Constitution vs Our Group

by on Nov.02, 2010, under Uncategorized

Writing the rules- Just like Morris who was the governor from New Jersey who wrote the final copy of the American Constitution, our group also left it up to one of our members, Holly to write the final copy of the rules that our group all talked over and approved apond on.
12 of the 13 colonys showed up for the signing of the constitution of May 1787 in Philadelphia, but the only state that didnt show up for the constitution was Rhode Island because they were scared to lose their “state’s right”. While 50 people from the 12 states showed up to sign the constitution our group only had 4 members from our group who decided, wrote and established our rules as one group.
Same or Different Rules-Just like the check and balance rule created after the three branches of government were created which are the executive branch the legislative branch and the judical branch, stating that no one branch will become overly powerful, our group came up with a rule just like it stating that everyone is egual and no matter what everyone has the same power as each other .
The constitution created the three branches which is like the gonvernment today. A presindent, a law division and a judge division.Which was ment to make America more organized and a better place but our group didnt get to deep with a gonvernmental plan so we really didnt have an organized gonvernment so sense we didnt have an organized governement our planet would be a difficuilt place to live and havic occur

Constitution

by on Nov.02, 2010, under Uncategorized

One rule that surprised me was the check and balnce rule meaning that everyone was equal and everyone had the smae amount of power. It surprised me because its a origanal rule that is common and I personally didnt think it needed to become a clasified rule.
