On August 5Th the San Jose copper gold mine near Copiapo Chile collapsed. There were 33 miners trapped deep below ground, for 68-69 days. They were all alive when rescued, but it must have been hard for being under ground for over two months. They were rescued on October 13, the first miner was rescued at 12:1o I believe (00:10) and the last miner was rescued at 9:55 (21:55). I don’t know what i would have done. Maybe hunt for any food I can find. Even if it was having to eat a rat. It’s gross, and I would feel so bad for doing it, but if there was no choice I  would have to. Also water would be a big deal, unless there was some way of getting it easily which I’m sure there wasn’t. When i got out, I would immediately go to the hospital if there weren’t ambulances already bringing me there. Then I would probably quit mining, and live life to the fullest without having a dangerous job.
