Navy ships, better? I think yes

The first and above all thing i noticed it the look of it, modern ones are made of metal, unlike the wooden older ships. Another difference is the older ones look like they need wind to fly, newer ones do not. Next newer ones are much more enclosed, a lot less open space which is good in case of storms. Also newer ships have runways for the air force, which is obviously part of the navy. Lastly, technology has allowed us not to have as much mechanisms working the ship. For example the older ships were overcrowded with stuff all over the place.
