Dog Blog Post

http://www.petsbest.com/blog/looking-to-adopt-a-dog-be-colorblind/

I learned that black dogs are not wanted because of a stereotype, it is believed that black dogs are mean and have a nasty personality. It is very hard to understand a black dogs personality, so many are afraid that they may make the wrong choice, by getting what they hope is agood dog, but turns out to be nasty. All dog and cat lovers about to adopt, please read this blog! There are many articles on how to adopt, where, vets, healthy foods for them etc. This is a great blog for animal lovers to learn how to keep a healthy and happy pet.

A Few Heroes of Mine

A hero is someone who you admire and hope to be like one day. Your hero depends on your personality. If I said that all heroes had to be nice and kind, would Al Capone be a hero? If you were a bank robber, wouldn’t Al Capone be your hero? I like people who are funny, that’s why I think Lucille Ball is one of my heroes. She starred in the show “I Love Lucy” She was one of the first lady comedians ever. I hope to one day be as funny and and nice as her. Another hero of mine is my friend Jess. This may sound crazy, for me to think a hero is my friend, but it is true. Jess doesn’t care about many things that I worry about constantly. She always seems to come into to school each week with something bandaged, in a cast, broken, sprained, or a story about an illness. She does not worry about these at all though, while I constantly fear them. I wish I could not worry about things, and I hope to one day have that personality that Jess has, funny, nice, and could care less about her troubles. My other heroes, I don’t even know. They are people doing things I hope I can do when I get older. They are trying to cut down pollution by not using a car, they are trying to find homes for animals, or building no-kill shelters. They are doing small things to try and improve one big thing, the earth.

BAD post:Climate Change

Climate change is something I feel guilty about. Humans are the cause of climate change. When people say “climate change is killing off the polar bears”, change “climate change” to “humans”.We are killing  animals, we are killing the earth, and the beauty of the earth. Lush forests, waterfalls, cute forest creatures, are all dead because of us! We have caused pollution by using cars and large factories. We have destroyed the ozone layer and because it has been destroyed more sunlight can get in, therefore, causing the ice to thin and polar bears to start dieing. There is hardly any thing I can do to make people realize that we need to get rid of at least 75% of the cars that are in the world, each family should only have one for emergencies. We cannot continue using factories that have smoke stacks on them, we have to find an alternative! All that I have the priviledge to do now is recycle and hope people read this post and agree with me, so we could all do something. I did not use any resources, this is from my heart and all that I know is right.

Important Pic

a moon over some rocks and stars

Who hasn’t thought about taking a midnight stroll across a moon lit beach? Who has stared up at the night sky and tryed to count  all of the stars? Night is my time, it’s mysterious and spoooky. The moon is my favorite part about night, especially when it is full. There are myths about a full moon , like the famous werewolf myth or the moon god Selene. The moon can change it’s shape and color, and there are so many kinds! The red harvest moon, the half moon, the blue moon, the quarter moon, the I- can-barely-see-it-,it-is-so-small moon, the ghost- like moon you can see during the day, the man and the moon, the cow jumped over the moon, and the inappropriate moon I am not aloud to mention on here, aswell as the famous full moon. It is said that if there is a full moon on Halloween, it means that the spirits of the dead will come back to haunt you, and that the werewolves come out. A full moon can make a dark and spooky night, into a night as bright as day. Though I am fascinated by the moon, the stars are beautiful at night. Go out on a clear summer night and just stare up at the sky. The stars give the sky an endless look, and it is allways fun to look for constellations. The stars have their own myths as well. I’m sure you have heard of Pegasus, the flying horse, who has his very own constellation. Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, the big and little bear, also live among the stars. The body and the tail of the Ursa Major make up the big dipper, also well known among the constellations. There is magic in the night, and we sleep through it. Wouldn’t you love to stay up and discover some of the magic?

Students Rights

Students in school have no rights. We are not aloud to carry backpacks around in the hall ways! We should be aloud to bring our backpacks into classes, if we could, it might prevent some accidents in the halls. We wouldn’t be dropping our books so kids wouldn’t be tripping over people or all over their work.school supplies We should also be allowed to drink and eat where ever and when ever we want to. I had a teacher one year who yelled at someone for drinking  juice. She said that only water was allowed. She then turned around and whipped out a giant bottle of Coke soda. Talk about a hypocrite!  Alright, you get a detention because you forgot a book. This is not fair, we deserve a second chance, EVERYONE forgets things. I had another teacher who forgot his grade book three days in a row, and he got nothing as a punishment, but a kid forgot his grammar book so he deserves a detention!? We deserve to have at least a half an hour to spend with our friends, like a recess or a longer lunch, teachers visit each other during OUR classes, but when we try to spend time with friends, we’re yelled at. What is the biggest right we deserve? To have the same rights as all of the teachers, to chew gum, have MP3s and Ipods in class, visit friends and carry backpacks, school is like a jail to some kids, but the teachers are treated wonderfully. Tell me, if teachers say we count, then why are we treated terribly?

The Right Time to Fight

I am not much of a fighter, I am a peacemaker.I hate fighting! If I had to fight(which I really hope I never have to with anyone over anything), I would probably fight for what I feel is better for everyone. Right now, I would fight against money, because money has ruined all of our lives. I believe if we dispose of all currencies, then the crime rate would go down, and all poor people would have the luxuries of rich people. We would just work for fun and to be kind to others. I would also fight against the government, because they are all rich and don’t know how it feels to be a middle class or poor. They seem to only make things better for the rich, which also means themselves.white house

I would start by taking everyone who is poor or middle class to revolt against the government, maybe even go on strike so all the rich no how it feels to have a shortage on money, and try to get my money point across.

Halloween and Fall

Fall is my favorite time of the year, it’s not to hot and not to cold, the decorations, the family time, Halloween and free candy! It’s always great to have a crisp fall day where the sun isn’t up to high so it’s not to bright or warm and the leaves adding a nice color to the land. A yearly trip to the pumpkin patch is great fun for me and my family, and getting lost in corn mazes is also fun,(also very funny). Fall includes my favorite holiday; Halloween!the jack o lanterns stairs Decorating your lawn to resemble a graveyard and dressing up as anything just to get free candy! It’s a tweens and teens dream! Carving Jack-O-Lanterns takes alot of skill, but you don’t  have to be an expert to still have fun.puppy staring at a lot of jack-o-lanterns There are all different kinds of Jack-O-Lanterns, like the faces, different set-ups, shadows, and scenes. Personally, I love throwing halloween parties, and if you are planning on throwing a halloween party of some kind, here are some tips:

1. Make gravestones of your friends with funny rhymes on them like “My poor friend Jess died because she flunked her last math test.” you can make them out of cardboard and paint, or if you really want to get fancy, you can make them out of wood.

2. For food and drink, try rotten fruit punch, just add some gummy worms and apple chunks to a bowl of  fruit punch. For food, you can eat the candy that was collected, or fill eerie bowls and trays with fruits like peeled grapes for eyes, fun halloween cookies, or marshmallows covered in caramel or butter scotch on the end of  tooth picks for “ear wax”.

3. For your decor, set up a haunted hotel or any other haunted place. Here’s a tip: anything animated will give your guests a good scare. Black cloths draped in doorways with something spooky hanging behind them works to, along with old tattered table cloths and screaming floor mats.

4. Look in your local craft store for Halloween magazines, which can also sometimes be found in regular grocery stores, these should help give you some ideas.

The Perfect Classroom

The perfect classroom would have heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Each student would have their own lab top with an e-mail address. The room would have animals that the students could interact with and flowers the students could grow. For holidays, the room would be decorated and the students would be allowed to decorate their desks with lights, garland etc. Funny posters could be hung through out the room and instead of a plain eraser board in the front, it would have a smart board. Also throw in a speaker system hooked up to an Ipod or MP3 player with all the latest hits down loaded to it and ta-da! There you have it folks, the perfect classroom.
