The Greatest Middle School Blog in the World

I decided to make some changes to this weeks plans based on all the wiki mails over the weekend.  Normally I spend five days introducing everyone to the wikis and blogs, this year because of the new start date we only did four and I think trying to squeeze it all into four days just didn’t allow everyone to absorb and practice the skills in order for them to feel comfortable.  So this week we will include one more day on the computers before getting into more academic topics.

Bloggish stuff due on Friday

1. If you need to finish any of the things from last week on the blogs or wikis finish it
2. Check you blog link on this page and verify that your link works, if it doesn’t let me know
3. Place the map widgets on your blog
4. Do the Week #2 blogging challenge
5. Take one “Something that you…” from your wiki page and write a post expanding on sentence.  A good start would about about a five sentence paragraph.  Include one image and one hyperlink in your post.
6. Leave comments on at least five blogs

4. Computer lab to finish up wiki/blog, it time work on this weeks bloggish stuff
