Bloggish Stuff Due Friday

  1. Don’t forget to complete the bloggish stuff that was due last Friday.  Since it was the first week we’ll cut everyone some slack–please get it all done by this Friday.
  2. Write one post on a topic of your choice.  Include one image and hyperlink.  Give you readers something to read!  Just a few sentences doesn’t cut it.  Check out Zahia’s post to see how adding a little “meat” to your post makes it much more interesting to read.
  3. Write a post answering our Revolutionary War Unit’s Essential Question that we discussed in class on Monday — “When is it necessary to ‘fight?’”  remember to include your answer, two reasons or examples, and a couple details backing up your reasons or on how you would “fight” for each.  Include one image in your post. You will get 35,238 bonus points if you use bubbl.us to brainstorm your idea before writing your post and include it in your post. There is an example below.
  4. Comment on at least three other blogs, either from our class or other participants in the challenge.

Class Stuff:

Monday-We will have a live fishbowl discussion on the essential question for the Revolutionary War unit “When is it necessary to ‘fight?’”

Tuesday/Wednesday-Watch Johnny Tremain.  The movie will be stopped at the scene in which the Minutemen are in a face-off with the Redcoats on the Lexingtion Green.  You will then be presented with the same problem they were faced with, to answer the question “When is it necessary to ‘fight?’”  Do you fight? or do you flee?
