Bloggish Stuff

  1. Here is a challenge for you.  Find out how other countries’ Constitutions are the same or different from ours.  Go to five of the students’ blogs from the challenge and ask them a few questions about their Constitution, and then ask them to leave their answers on a post you wrote that includes the questions.  One of the questions must be about the section that you are working on.  Or go to the new Blogging Challenge and do #2 with your questions and simply leave a comment on folks’ blogs asking them to come to your post to respond to your poll.
  2. Write a post about one of the first Ten Amendments to the Constitution. What are these first ten amendments called?  Why do we have them?  Tell your readers about one of them and give an example of a current event in which that amendment played a role.

This week is another one of our short November weeks–only 16 days of school in November!  Monday and Tuesday you will finish your summary of the Article and Section of the Constitution that was assigned to you, and then start to convert your summary into lines for your movie.  My hope is that we will be able to have the lines finished by Wednesday, so that we can start recording the audio for them on Friday.

If you can read this you have won a prize!  Please bring a dozen chocolate chip cookies in to Mr. Bogush to claim the prize
