Textbooks…? Are they reliable?
In my Social Studies school textbook it tells us about Tecumseh and how he was a very talented Indian leader ans a skilled warrior, but they don’t really give you that much information about him. like if someone was to write a report on Tecumseh the textbook would not be the best choice to use. I would have probably would have used the Internet because it tels you a lot more information about him. Some information that I found on the Internet about Tecumseh is he was a father to 20 children and had 3 wives, he was born in 1786, he lost an eye in a hunting accident. These facts are some of the things that should be in the textbook that was left out. I do not think the book did a good job describing Tecumseh, they should have used more details. If they added these facts then it would make it more interesting to kids in the middle school. These are just some things that I would have done if I was the book editor.
