  • Things that i love doing on this planet

    January 7th, 2010 by chadd

I love to do almost anything outdoors; biking, swimming, playing sports, shooting, snowboarding, and soooooo many others. However, now that it is 2010, and a new year, I would like to start trying new things, new activities, new food, etc. Somethings that i want to try are rockclimbing, waterskiing, kyaking, hang-gliding, and parasailing. I get excited by almost any high risk, challenging, or extreme tasks that may find their way to me. I also love to draw and design, and do alot of work with computers. However, my gratest two passions are shooting and biking. One of the reasons that I’m so passionate about these things is because I’ve been doing them since i was pretty young. (biking since 2, shooting since 9). The other reason being that I’m really good at both. (usually I shoot around a score of 193-200, 200 being the highest possible score; equivilent to a bullseye in each target, and I can’t easily explain how well i can ride a bike, so I’ll just say better than most people my age can). Time is the only issue here, I shoot every Monday and also most weekends I have competitions. I also shoot airgun and archery in my back yard. Biking is when problems occur, I LOVE to bike, I’d do it every day if I could, but since 7th grade finding the time between sports, school work, and friends has been tough, and then the fact that i ride bikes ”into the ground” often brings up the money issue :)     In the future, I would love to become a world renowned shooting phenominon since i can shoot a perfect score at age 13, that’s extremely rare in the shooting sports. (and I’ve already competed on an international level, I mean I want to shoot for the U.S. in the olympics). And, becoming a pro mb (mountain bike) racer would be pretty nice, too. I shoot with men well into their 70’s, and hope to be shooting until I can’t anymore! I will be adding to this blog post as time goes on with more info on my shooting career.

If you were a criminal, would you rather face 300 highly trained elite soldiers, or Chuck Norris with a bb gun?

    Red Kayak

    October 12th, 2009 by chadd

This summer I went to visit my granparents in upstate New York, and we “hooked up with” one of my moms long time friends Doug Diehl. My grandparents live near Lake George and Doug works at a high end condo association on the lake. He took us out on the lake on a boat, then when we got back he lent me a red kayak to “tool” around the waters near the beach. I had alot of fun. Doug often bikes, rollerskies, and crosscountry skis.He has won races and set new records while participating with the team Peru Nordic. To learn more about Douglas Diehl visit:     http://www.perunordic.com/

    Favorite Interest

    October 11th, 2009 by chadd

One of my favorite interests is things in general. I feel like i have to know how something works, or how it was made before I can use it. I used to bother my parents alot when i was little because they would buy me things and i would take them apart, and not be able to get them together again. Or, they’d buy me something, I’d take it apart, put it back together, wrong, or I’d take it apart, put it together again, and it wouldn’t work the way it was supposed to. I became a master at bike repair from a young age, it was always easy for me to take a bike apart, and put it together again. Also, computers, and other electronics, I’ve always had a “gift” with. You’ve got something broken? I can probably fix it, or tell you whats wrong with it if I can’t fix it.

“Some place you want to be”

    October 1st, 2009 by chadd

The Range. It’s my favorite place to be. As I stated before, I’m a marksman, marksmanship is the sport of target shooting. I’ve been shooting for 4 years now, and Im very “decorated”. This past summer, I went to Colorado for a nation wide shooting olympics, and placed fourth…..IN THE NATION, with a .22, at 50 meters, with irons!!!! I own an Anschutz (German made sporting rifle) target rifle, and will be getting a larger model in a few years. So far, So good :)
