The Mustang is my school's masscot! :)

Right now, junior high (or middle school) is practically my life! I go there every week day for about 6 hours. By the time I’m ready to go to school it’s usually 7:20 AM. Unfortanatly, I have to wait for twenty minates outside in the cold, because my bus is always late! When I get to school it’s about 7:50. This definatly isn’t good, beacuse that only gives me a limited of time to get my stuff out of my locker, sign in, and get to homeroom. In my school we have teams. What I mean by this is that all the grades are split up into three sections(except for the 6th grade, which has 6 teams). Since I’m in 8th grade, I’m on team 8-2. It’s a very good team to be on! Social Studies class is a blast (and so are all the other ones!). We are learning so much things at a fast pace! On Mondays and Fridays, are classes are about 50 minates long, and on the rest of the days they’re about 45 minates. On Mondays and Fridays, waiting for lunch to start seems almost interminable! Anyway, in my school, we also have classes called Unified Arts. These include, Art, Woodshop, Tech Ed., Architecture/Design, and Child Development. I’m in Child Development and it’s a very interesting class (I won’t go too much into it!). My favorite class right now would have to be social studies because we are always working in groups and doing fun stuff (for example: my friends and I made a rap for our project, and of course, the blogs)! This year, I decided to become the manager of the cross country team. I’m sad to say that cross country is over :( …but it was fun while it lasted! :) …I am also apart of the track team. I run 400 meters(once around the track), and 800 meters(twice around the track). Track is so much fun, and it’s an excellent way to stay healthy and active! This year, I also tried out for the school play which is, Guys and Dolls! I made it into drama club, but tomarrow will be the big day when I actually find out if I got a part! I think that I have a very good school, but I’m excited for next year because I’m going to be in high school! I’m hoping to get into a really good Catholic high school next year, so wish me luck! :)
