What Can You Do?
What can we really do? What can we do in life? What can we do in life without getting in trouble? In other words; What are we aloud to do? Well, a man named, James Madison, supported a document called, the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights are basically, the Ten Amedments to the Constitution. These amendments protect the rights of everyday, ordinary, people against goverment intrusion. The reason we have these ten amendments is so that every individual can do things their own way, and to be aloud to do certain things, without anybody judging them. The Sixth Amendment says that any person who has committed a crime is aloud a jury, and their own lawyer to back them up. This law was recently inforced, when everyone was still trying to figure out what to do about the, “Steven Hayes Crime.” What he did was obviously wrong, but everyone still has the right to have a lawyer.
