4493496623_a4c1c2b574In class this week, we had to write down about 16-17 analogies that have to do with the American Revolution. One analogy that I especially liked of mine was, “The Declaration of Independence is to America as Abraham Lincoln was to the slaves.” I really liked this one because I thought that it explained each cause very well (if you know what they are about). The Declaration of Indepence is the reason that America is free, and Abraham Lincoln was the reason that the slaves were freed. So there is a connection there!
