About: Napoleon

In our text books Napoleon Bonaparte is only described for two reasons the first one is in “1792 when France’s revolutionary began to conquer other nation.” Then in 1808 when Napoleon had brought change to everything he bought such has: Land reforms, tax reforms and a new code of law, but what our book does not say is about

1. His family like what he did before all of this

2. Did he have kids? Was he married? And did he have sibling?

3. What battles did he fight in?

4. What happened in Battle of Austerlitz (Napoleons greatest victory)

5. And what about the Battle of Waterloo (and was defeated)

I think that if there were more facts in the book about Napoleon and his life and why people hated him so much then kids or adults reading this book about Napoleon would be in tune more with the book and not fall asleep while reading it.

Have you seen this befor?

In science class today people had asked if I was a vegetarian because I am such a animal lover. And By the way am not ! I do love meat but I love animals too. So seeing that we had to do a blog post on something my teacher does not know already i decided to do a rare animal and give you guys some facts on it only because of what happen today and I as I has said loved animals to I have 2 animals for you guys the first one is

   Arabian Oryx

It is white over its entire body with black below the knees and black markings on the face. The fur around the eye is black; cheek stripes are black. These cheek stripes widen to the jaw angle  , It was hunted down by poachers so the last one in the wild was shot =(   As for right now there is no more in the wild but only in zoo’s , parks etc..

You only get better with time

Interpret the following quote:

“Do great leaders make history? Or does history make great leaders?”
Which do you believe?    This is what we have to use about our post today so I thought I would show you guys first then answer it.

I think that Great leaders make history because say if you came from a family where your dad, sister, brother, mom etc.. was famous then you might be too but that does not mean you  have talent or that you are a great leader so there for you only make history by saying and doing things that change the way you are and how the world is. People who do things that help us or help the environment deserves to make history and not singers, baseball players, football players dancers etc.. like don’t get me wrong they are unique but don’t deserve to make history for such a simple thing people who make a change on how we live for the rest of our lives good or bad make history and probably not with ease but with determination and believing in there self’s.

You didnt have a clue.

Ok guys so many of you know Amelia Earhart? Well I would hope that just about everyone knows her. Well I believe she is a great remodel for everyone to look up to and an even better leader. I think this person is a great leader because she was Brave, (being able to fly across the world in a air plane all by herself and the first women to do so) Intelligent, (someone like her planed and traced her course to bad she didn’t know what she didn’t know what was in store for her) and despite the risks she went for what she wanted to do to prove to everyone that she can do it!

Objects.. and School.

This week in school we had to come up with a story about a topic you were given mine was the Alien and Sedition act, and our item you ask? Why it’s a pipe. And if you ask me what’s it about well I guess you might just have to guess that story on your own! I really enjoyed this assignment because it got you to think and really be creative but you also had to use facts from our topic but you can’t lie so much on a certain part of it won’t sound very believable. If we were to do this again or if anyone else where to use this in the future I would suggest maybe working on your own or a group of 2. We did a group of 3 but if you didn’t like an idea it would ether go your way or not. I think the best part was finding the object because you really could become creative and what my teacher says “let your story pick the object”.

Can You be a leader?

Leaders. Leaders are the type of people who like to take a stand, stay in charge and to have people look up to them. Leaders have many characteristics some good and some bad but to be a good leader you must want to be one and you must have the courage to stick up for yourself and stand up for what’s right and what you believe in, but leaders aren’t just born like this you have to work up to be a leader. Some people might say “you are born to be a leader” but you don’t know that till you make yourself up to be one. Anyone can be a leader including myself. I consider myself a leader but only “part time”. I don’t want to be a leader most of the time but sometimes you just have to go for it and sometimes there needs to be a leader so why not you? One time I was a leader would be when me and my brother went with my family to the aquarium. While we were looking we couldn’t see our parents so we got scared but instead I stayed in control and waited where I was unlike how my brother wanted to go look for them. I think that my ability to be a leader is to stay in control not to focus on anything but the matter at hand and to do what’s right when it’s needed.

My object

object

This object is a wooden object , and to tell you the truth i have no idea what it is called but the reason I like it so much is because in 3rd grade is when i really started to like school nice teacher, friends and we never did anything that would make your mind explode. Anytime we would learn about fractions we would always use these. The most fun thing about using them is that we got to make shapes and be creative about them. 3rd grade was one of my best years and thanks to my teacher I enjoy school maybe not as much as before but I still do.

2012..

2012 will it happen? Ever since the movie 2012 everyone has been on the edge on whether or not the world is coming to a end. The world was supposed to end so many times before but it never happened, could this be the end of the world as we know it? Scientists have said that every thing seems to be fine but with almost a year to come maybe things will change?I decided to write about this because so many people want to know if the world will end but do we really know if it will end or not? Only time will tell and hopefully it wont be true and it most likely wont because of the fact that the world was supposed to end years ago and we are still here.

How Much wood could a Washington chop?

Fact or Fiction? GeorgeWashington cut down his fathers cherry tree and said ” Pa i cant tell a lie, I cut down your cherry tree with my hatchet.” Well Its a lie. It all began with the author of the book it all started with Mason Locke Weems and his Book The Cherry Tree.  If you read the book it makes you think he was a honest person and that he cared and didn’t care what his punishment was but that he was honest and that’s exactly why he was president well that’s all a lie I mean am sure he wanted to have people think he was a honest president but am not perfectly sure that he would cut down his fathers cherry tree and tell his father he did it just to have the logo of being honest.
