Read about . . . . .

I am reading about  the declaration of war 1812. I feel that the book ’Call to Freedom’ has the best coverage of  declaring war for 1812. The internet has information on the war of 1812 but, no specific details that focas on declaring the war. In the book, it talked about who wanted to declare war, what the britain did for madison to declare war. The book covered ‘declaring war’ well. If you were going to reasher on it, i would use your history book first.Picture_OSP-MA0226

2008-04-dr-martin-luther-king-jrIn my opinion, I think Martin Luther King Jr  is a good leader because he doesn’t want war, he’s friedly & wants everyone to be in a good place.  Martin was nice to everyone no matter what color. He wanted people to live on this earth and to respect eachother. He held many speaches to let everyone how we should act, there shouldn’t be hate. We need love.

“Do great leaders make history? Or does history make great leaders?”

I honestly think history makes great leaders. The past teaches you from wrong& right. Without the past, you won’t get far. You need to know how to act, so you can become a leader. Not just a leader makes history, anyone can.

If you read my earlier post, about my softball, you would understand this post alot better. When I wrote about how the softball was my significant object, it made me find my self a little bit more. I dug deep inside of me, to understand, why is this plain ball, part of my life. Honestly its a part of me, it completes me. It reminds me I’m doing what I love everyday. it makes me happy. Ever since I started to write about my object, there’s  been parts of me Ive lost, that Ive been finding left &right. I learned that it doesn’t matter what other people want you to do, do what you want that makes you happy. If not, you’ll eventually ge into trouble.

leaders I think to be a leader, you have to have good characteristics. The characteristics Ithink a leader should have would be, nice, caring, bravery, to be a leader because your not born a leader. Your made a leader. You gotta know whats good & bad, Right from wrong. That takes a while. It might take you a while to become a leader, but you’ll be a true leader. Now that I’m in the student government, I feel that I might be a leader, pointing out what should happen in the school. Of course they’d be good choices.(: I follow a leader everyday & so do you. The prestident. Everyone follows his laws. Well not everyone. Everyone except people that are in jail & don’t do good. Anyone can be a leader if they qualify, which goes back to the characteristics.  I can be a leader at some times. Honestly, it depends on the mood I’m in. My strongest abilities would have to be  leading people to do good, because I make good point which will have the people think about it.

softball

When you look at this softball. You see a softball. Me? I see a ball who made me a tough softball player. The ball of achievement. I never thought in my second year, would a home run would come out of me. The first year, yea I was okay. I wasn’t bad but I didn’t qualify for a homerun. The second year, I was better. I swung hard but never thought the ball would go far. Alright so im up next to bat. The score is close. I step up to the plate, the ball is pitched. I hit the ball as hard as I could. All I did was stand there not knowing what to do. Being surprised, I dashed to 1st,then to 2nd, then 3rd, to home. The feeling, the rush, I had running from base to base. Knowing that on my second year, thinking I wasn’t the best for making a homerun. It happened. We won of course. The game ball was handed to me. That ball with the dirt marks & bat marks on it. The memory & rewind of what happened that day.

This blogging idea, has made me write more like me, and not to write just for a grade. Its made me write within me. At first I didn’t really like this blogging thing because all my homework thats on paper then remebering to go onto the school site when I want to go on facebook, kinda difficult. In a way, this is kinda like facebook without the chat. Anyone can make one so, I guess, its a part of me now.(: Thanks Mr.Bogush.

603px-Happy_face_svgWhat if girls didn’t cause drama?  There would be alot more happier people, less stressed out poeple and

What if  the world didn’t rotate?  We would probably die.

What if people weren’t nice?  We would all be living in a war everyday, nonstop.

What if businesses gave things away for free?  Those businesses wouldn’t be able to pay their employees, those employees wouldn’t have any money to take care of themselves which would give them no choice but to die.

What if girls didn’t call them selves ugly all the time?  Wow, it would alot heck better then hearing those girls whining about them self just looking for complements. (:

Only what iff……..

But there differences would be alot more.

USS  Chesapeake-

  • Chesapeake was launched in 1799
  • Chesapeake was captured in 1813
  • Chesapeake’s type was a 38-gun Frigate
  • Chesapeake’s propulsion was a sail

Wasp-

  •  Wasp was launched in 1987
  •  Wasp was an amphibious assault ship
  •  Wasp had steam turbines, boilers, and shafts
