On March 27 1794, the Naval Act was passed by the United States Congress. The ships that were used back then are different and similar to the ships that we use in the Navy today. The two ships I am comparing are the USS Constitution, and the USS Wasp  Differences:

  • The USS Constitution was made of wood, while the Wasp is made of metal.
  • The Wasp is powered by engines and the Constitution was powered by sails.
  • The navy ships today are much largerBOAT @
