Inspiration! (curse you!)

Last night was about as normal as it can get. I did my home work, played Halo, ate dinner and went to bed. Of course I never saw it coming, nobody ever does… it was stalking me all day,waiting for the perfect moment to strike. As soon as i crawled in bed, completely oblivious as to what was going on, it hit me. i never saw it coming, just right out of the blue. I should have expected it though. it always strikes at bedtime. Suddenly I realized what had happened. Inspiration had hit me. I was sure i was a goner but I wasn’t going down without a fight. I just sat still, not daring to think any thoughts. The more thoughts you think the more likely the chances that you will be its next victim. It was a pretty good idea though… Doh! it was too late, it got me. I rushed downstairs. My mother was on the computer. “Mom! Mom!” I whined. I need the computer now! “Sorry Josh” she said, “I’m using it now. Can’t it wait until tommorow?” By that time I had become fully enveloped by the inspiration. I couldn’t back down, and she knew it. “fine she conceded.” Forty minutes later I was off much to the joy of my distraught parents. It was 10:45 I wasn’t even half way done then. By 11:30 I had finished the storyboard. By 12:10 I had a script. By 1:45 I had a complete shot list. I was done. Inspiration was finally gone for the night. But it will be back. I haven’t started filming yet…
