This is just a really quick post to give you guys something to read. I am working on many things currently including a short story that will soon be posted on this blog.
Here’s something to think about. Sahara means desert. Therefor the Sahara desert literally means the desert desert. I wonder how many other redundant names such as this one can be found. If you know of any please post them in the comments. Name FAIL.
I have successfully invented a word that can only be linked to my blog: Choclamato. It is a combination of chocolate, clams and tomatoes. For those of you who need more information on the topic then here is the recipe:
Ingrediants: Chocolate sauce, clams and tomato juice.
First take four wholebelly clams (cooked) and add them to a blender. Then add one cup of tomato juice. Lastly add one quarter cup of chocolate sauce. set the blender on liquify and let it go until there are no chunks. Then let it sit for a few minutes and chug away.
DISCLAIMER: Josh LeBlanc is not responsible for any deaths, injuries, ruining of furrniture, or any other nasty thing caused by drinking, or even making choclamato. Drink at your own risk. Remove tounge for best taste.
In class we were assigned the task of translating a shortened version of Andrew Jackson’s adress to the nation into terms that would be used in todays society of political correctness and Fox News finding some reason to bash Democrats like Andrew Jackson for every little thing tthey say. Here Goes…
I proudly announce to the congress that the government of this great and powerful country we call America has succeeded in creating a plan that effectively pushes the Indians that have been so long intruding on our claimed land out of said country. We shall place them in a settlement where they can be isolated from the rest of the world, effectively removing them from our society entirely. I, as do most people in this world believe that a highly civilized city can be much more productive than a overgrown forest in today’s society. So let us legally and with as little bloodshed as possible push them out of this land.
I decided to find a word that could only be traced to my blog. After a half hour of searching google and making up words I have settled on choclamato. It is a combination of chocolate, clams and tomatos, combined together in one deadly milkshake. Try some, garanteed to make you puke. Also try searching choclamato on google. My blog should be all that comes up.
I’m working on a new animated series called Silver Dragon, a d&d4e adventure. I used the animation program Fliponote Studio to make it. It’s pretty good considering that I can only do so much due to my limited drawing skills. Here’s the vids:
Today’s assignment is to write about a person or relationship who has steered our life in one direction or the other.
My person would be my friend Colin. We met in sixth grade and ever since we have understood each other and basically have been co-conspirators in almost every non school related of our lives since then. For example in sixth grade I introduced him to animation. He immediatly took to it and since then we have worked on almost 20 different videos together. Another thing we have done together is Dungeons and Dragons. (definetely one of our nerdier pastimes) we started playing about a year ago and are now taking turns DMing for our campaign. If it weren’t for Colin I would’t have read The Lord Of The Rings books, and I probally wouldn’t want to be an animator when I grow up. And if it weren’t for me Colin wouldn’t be an animator and he would be very bored on weekends.
We were supposed to make a wordle of what the American flag means to us. Here’s mine! You can also see the rest of the class’s by going to moranmustangs.org and clicking on the names on the sidebar.
Today’s assignment was to translate the Star Spangled Banner into words that people can better understand today. I’m going to try my best not to sound sarcastic with this. Don’t judge me.
Oh! Hey look at that, by the early morning sunshine.
That thing that we looked up to last evening.
Whose red sripes and shiny stars, lasted the entire dangerous battle.
And we could see it over the defensive mounds of earth waving in the wind
And the red hued explosives, and bombs going off in mid-air
Illuminated the flag every time they exploded
Look now! The flag is still waving!
Over this great country we call America
