Key words that symbolize what the American fag means to 15 people

WORDLEEEEE

The National Anthem through my eyes

Yes I think that the Star Spangled Banner is Historically accurate according to the history of the War of 1812. I think this because it has sayings in it that actually occured like: Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there…… This actually occured because once the fighting occured through the night, they knew that if in the morning the flag was still standing, that the war was over. This does matter to history because if Francis Scott Key had not seen anything that was going on with the war and didn’t write the song, the thought probably would have never occured to America to have a national song.  This is to me what the Star Soangled Banner Means in my own words:

Oh! Can you see the mornings light.

Strongly we praised the nights last light

As the thick stripes and bright stars of the flag stood through the dangerous dispute

Over the hills we saw were bravely flowing

And the rockets shining red and the bombs firing through the air

And through the night, our flag was still standing

Can you see that star covered flag waving

Over the land of freedom and home of the bold

Symbols?

Today, everywhere we go there is some type of symbol. This means there is always something representing a person or an object. People create these symbols because they have more meaning than words. The phrase, ” A picture’s worth a thousand words, ” really describes symbols. When you see a symbol such as the dollar bill, you usually are thinking, “What should I spend thins on?” Next time stop and think about what the dollar bill is symbolic of.  A symbol that is very important to the United States is the American flag. The American flag is considered a symbol because it represents our country and also represents the making of America in a unique way with stripes and stars.

The vulnerable U.S.S. Constitution

The U.S.S constitution was ordered to be built by George Washington because of the safety of the Navy. By defeating four British frigates, the ship got the name ” Old Ironsides”. This ship was important to the United States during the war of 1812 because it was intended to protect the United States, which is exactly what it did.  The ship was made of iron so it was a sturdy ship and would be difficult to sink.  As Old Ironsides fought the HMS Guerriere, it was practically vulnerable to its cannons. With the material used to build Old Ironsides, it was able to withstand the cannons of the Guerriere and sink the British ship in about twenty minutes. This event was important because the United States wasn’t known for their Navy and really didn’t have many ships. That’s why this ship was created to protect the country.

Student Rights

Five rights that every student should have are rules that would help them in school.

1). Each student should have the right to chew gum in class whenever they want to.

2). Each student is to be allowed to skip classes whenever they want at their own risk of falling behind but not get in trouble for missing class.

3). Students should always be able to come to school on any friends bus as many times through the year that they want.

4). I think that every student is entitled to missing ONLY two homework assignments in a term but has the chance to make it up so doesn’t affect the grade.

5). Every student should only get one project in a term which will be worth 30% of their grade.

What Would The Perfect Classroom Look Like To Me

The Perfect classroom to me would have lots of technology, comfy couch desks, and an aquarium full of every fish from finding nemo. It would also be a comfortable learning  environment.
