I was researching how the constitution was written to the rules me and my group wrote and I found some similarities and differences. One difference is that when they wrote the constitution it took 4 months to write, and there was also 55 delagates chosen to help write it. That makes scents though because the constitution is really long and it was hard to contact each other because they had to ride back and forth on horses to discuss the rules with all the other people. It only took a few days for my group to make our rules. But, my group only had to make 12 rules and we were all in the same area so it was easier to discuss the rules together.

One thing that’s similar between the writing of the constitution and the writting of my groups rules is that there was both arguing in each. When the constitution was written there was a lot of people trying to write the rules together and they had to come back and forth on horses. While they were doing that I think there was a lot of arguing because they probably disagreed with each other and thought that some of the thing they thought of weren’t important. My group had a lot of arguing also. We did because we had to pick out the rules we thought ere most important but we disagreed with each other and it took us a while to figure out which rules to pick.

During my research I also learned about the actual rules on the constitution. Some rules were alike but there were a lot that were different. One rule that was on the constitution was there’s age limits for the senate and house of representatives. I think there should be an age limit for that stuff because, if your too young you won’t be responsible, and you would make the wrong chooses. The only rule that my group has about age limit is, all people must defend the settlement if attacked as long as they are at least twelve years old. We made that rule because if your too young you can have other people defend your property for you.

There was also a rule similar to one of our rules. That rule is a member who doesn’t show up can get fined. That rule is kind of related to the rule me and my group made which is, no leader of the settlement can break any laws. Those two rules are similiar because not showing up is like braking the laws, and you shold get fined for breaking the laws because your supose to follow the rules and do what your told to do.
