George Washington

I think that George Washington was a man that wouldn’t give up not matter what. In the movie based on the book “The Crossing” they rein-acted when George Washington and his troops attacked the British (the revolutionary war). No matter how cold it got and no matter how many men were sick he still kept going and did not retreat his troops. Also in the movie you could tell George Washington never gave up because he only had about 2,000 men and not a lot of weapons and he still attacked the British who had 20,000 men that were all trained warriors. How brave would you have to be to do that. I’m thinking really brave. The last reason why I think George Washington never gave up is because in the movie he planned to attack the British around 5am. That way it will be surprise attack because it is very early in the morning and everybody will be sleeping and it was the day after Christmas so everybody will be tired. Unfortunately that plan didn’t work out and he reached the British at 8:00. George Washington knew he was in for a though battle but he still attacked. At the end fortunately George Washington won the fight. Only 4 of his men died and 2 of them died because of natural causes. This shows that George Washington was a brave man and that he is fit enough to be the first president of The Untied States of America.
