Today in class we talked about Immigration. Some people have different opinions about what immigration is. Some people think of Illegal Immigrants. Everyone has a different view on it.

So.. If I was in charge, what rules would I make about who could become an American?

I feel that everyone deserves a new beginning, and that no one should be discouraged about not knowing something. Though, I do think that Immigrants should know a certain job that they can do so that they are equipped for America. They should know someone who can speak English, or have someone who can teach them English. If they come with a family, they shouldn’t expect a home, because they need to earn it themselves.

Should all new immigrants have to know English?

Well, I some-what answered that in the last question. Yes I believe that an immigrant should know English when coming to America. Though, I also believe if they have someone who can teach them or translate for them, they are okay.

Hey guys, time for the question of the week! And sorry I was so late!

The question is…. What is you opinion on young marriages?

In my opinion, it is ok. If you love the person, then I see no problem with it. I understand how some parents wouldn’t want their children to marry so young, but the whole point in marriage is to be with the person you love!

Although, I found a site that had statistics about young marriages. It says that a majority of all teens under 18 get a divorce in usually 10 years. I don’t really like that, but I can also tell why. Most of the children don’t realize what it is like to be married, and to see what that person is like day after day. I am not married, but I can tell that being in a serious relationship is different from being married to someone. Also, it is easier to get into fights. In young relationships, if you have a fight, you don’t have to see them and you have time to reflect. When you’re married, you have to see the person while you are mad at them, and sometimes that just makes matters worse.

Hey guys! Time for the question of the week!

The question is…. What is your favorite type of music?

Personally mine is alternative rock, screamo, pop, and rap. I realize that these are a complete mix of genres, but I think that they are all good. I got into alternative about 2 or 3 years ago, Tokio Hotel are my favorite alternative band. They have such great beats and lyrics, I automatically started loving their music. I also love All Time Low, which is a great band that also has music in the pop category, so I think that both are very interesting.

I got into screamo, which is music that is screamed not sung, about 2 months ago. My friend Sam got me into it, and I like a certain band named Escape the Fate because not all their songs are screamed. I think that I like it mostly because the music is exciting and fun.

The reason I like pop is because it is upbeat and fun. I like the bands Pushplay and Nevershoutnever. Pushplay has extremely fun and very upbeat music, that always has fun lyrics about young love. Nevershoutnever is a one man band, who is just a fun silly guy. He likes to have different music that not many people listen to, but I love it!

Rap, although I sometimes find irritating, can be good too. I like certain artists because others are sometimes rapping about violence and things like that. Artists like Drake are the kind that I like. Although he was also on Degrassi, Jimmy, and so I had an old appreciation towards him. I think that rap has become a little too much about violence, but when it isn’t, I enjoy it.

Well it is…. What is your opinion on people making their avatars for blogs as themselves?

I think that people who are 18 or older should be able to because when you are young, you don’t really understand what kind of people are out there. It could be dangerous!

Hey guys! I am doing blogging challenge week 2 and since I’m a veteran, we have to write a post on when people should put themselves as their avatar.

I personally think it is ok when you are a very known blog. Not a school thing, and maybe older. I feel this way due to the fact that their are people out there who go after young children, and are dangerous. I think that if someone over 18 who knows what they are doing should be ok with it. Even then though, it could be dangerous.

Also, very known blogs are probably going to have fans who want to see who is the blogger. I do not object, although, I feel that the Avatar should be somewhat vague, considering there are people who are dangerous.

The Question is…. Who has been your greatest influence?

I would have to say that my greatest influence is my mom. She is so strong, she goes through so much to make me and my sister happy. I wouldn’t be here without her. She’s just that one who I know I can talk to about anything without being judged. Imagine you had NO ONE to talk to and you had to keep everything inside bottled up? I would hate it!
