Long Time No Type

Hello there people of the cybernet :) How’s it going? Well for all you fellow 8th graders out there you’re probably starting or just finishing up with choosing your new high school and looking through what classes your hoping to take next year. I know I’m pretty busy thinking of next year. A 9th grader! Woohoo! My brother is going to be in his finally year in high school when I’m starting so I get to bug him for an entire year. Haha. I’m pretty excited for next year. A new school. New people, new classes. Almost like starting over completely. The hard part is going to be waking up a little earlier for me :/ I am NOT a morning person haha. Hopefully my brother will help me out and my first year should go smoothly. I hope high school isn’t like the books though because there’s sooo much drama in the books I read. Then again I doubt there’s gonna be any vampires at this high school. Lol. Well I know I’m about 20 days late for this year (and about 350 days early for next year!) But: HAPPY NEW YEAR! May this year bring you another step closer to your dreams :D

Knitting supplies- Someone in the house likes to knitt.

Dog food- We have a pet in the house.

That is 5 objects you can find in my house and what you might learn about my family if you were to see them. Thanks for reading!

One Word, One Sentence, Three Parts, My Life

My life in one word: Confusing

My life in one sentence: My life is very confusing even for me the one whose trying to live it.

My life broken up into three parts: My life broken up into three parts would be-

1) School- It takes up most of my time and I have spent most of the days in my life there. It gets more challenging every year and it’s hard for me to keep up usually.

2) Family- I see my family very often. Some more then others. My family plays a pretty big role in my life because they are the ones who get me to try new things and they are my role models. Most of them are older then me and they are also my only connection to my past of when I was younger for telling me stories of what I use to do to far back for me to remember.

3) Sleep- I think sleep is a very important part of my life. Without it I don’t know how I would be able to do anything. I wouldn’t sane without sleep because without sleep you don’t rest your brain and if my brain isn’t rested I get really cranky.

That’s my life in one word, one sentence, and put into three parts! Thanks for reading!

Let’s Take A Trip With Idea Flight!!

Quick! What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when I say: Idea Flight!?!? Probably: “what is Idea Flight?” Well, it’s this cool app you can buy rot your iPad! It allows you to give or present a presentation with a group of people. The pilot controls the presentation and the passenger can follow along and take notes. Mr. Bogush has gotten us a chance to use these IPads and we got to test out the app! We have done multiple presentations with the iPads and we have even come up with different ways you can present with the app. Mr. Bogush has even given many presentations with the app. The app makes presenting for our class very productive and easy and we all feel more comforatable using Idea Flight. I recommend this app to anyone who gives or receives presentations quite often it would be the PERFECT thing to use. (You can buy the app on iTunes!) I hope if you’re going to use it you like it as much as I do! Thanks for reading and happy presenting! :D

IPADS IPADS GET ‘EM WHILE YOU CAN!

Well for the past like two or maybe three, I’m not sure I’ve lost count… (Haha) My class has had the great honor of being able to use/test 15 IPads for free during class! Mr.Bogush has assigned us projects to do and research to do on them and test the boundries of the IPads and this app we are testing on them. They are pretty cool I must admit, but in retro-spect the IPad is just a, Ipod touch blown up bigger. But still, the screen is bigger so that’s a plus side, and also the app we’re testing wouldn’t really work on the Ipod touch. I still have to present my presentaion on the IPads that I had to do for the USA’s government unit we are doing and I’m excited to see how it works out. The IPads are pretty amazing, but there are still somethings it can’t do that I know they will some how manage to do within a few years: It will be able to fly probably (Haha) and show 3D, or maybe it will be as light as a feather! Now those things would be really cool and all, but just think of how much it would cost! Woah! But, ya, so to sum it all up: The IPads are pretty awesome. I wouldn’t use one 24/7 or even 12/7 but it’s pretty cool getting to use them at school. Thanks Apple! And thanks Mr.Bogush for the great opertunity! :D

Live Life To It’s Fullest

If the average life span for a human was only 25 years I probably would do a lot more than I’ve done now. I know I have quite a while to do the things I want but if I knew I only had 25 years to do it? I would probably do it a lot sooner than I would with the average life span at 70 or older. This isn’t a long post I know, but that’s really my whole answer. I would live life to it’s fullest sooner and faster and try to make the best of everything I come across. Comment on what you would do if human’s average life span was only 25 years and why. Thanks! :D

October 28, 2061

Hmm…. October 28th in the year 2061? Well I would’ve just had my 63rd birthday! Wow, that’s 50 years from now. Ew! I’ll be old! That’s really weird to think about don’t you think? Having your own grandchildren? Being married! Jeez…. Let’s see just what might happen in 50 years for me….

Me:

1! I’ll probably be retired from teaching at Yale, because I hope that if I can’t find a solid paying job in Astronomy then I would either teach it at yale or hopefully teach it somewhere because it’s something I love and I also have good methods for how to teach thanks to adapting them from previous teachers I’ve had who actually did something “right” in teaching in a way that I enjoyed or liked the idea of.

2! I hope my friends and I would stay in touch through the years. Mostly because I don’t want to be the only old person I know and also becuase we can share stories about our grandchildren like my grandma does with her friends.

3! I hope to have a dog that I can be really close with just like how close I am with my current dog Goldie. :)

Where I live:

1! I hope to live in my grandparents current house, because their house is special to our family. My grandpa built that house with a couple of friends back when my dad was around my age today and it’s an amazing house! It really is beautiful.

2! The trees at that house were hand planted by my grandma all around her house as saplings and now they are humongus! They will probably be even bigger by the time I live there some day.

3! I hope the sky is still clear and not polluted because I want my kids and my grandkids to be abl to see the sky as I did when I was their age.

World:

1! The world will be farther in technology of course. Different presidents and dictator of course, but otherwise it will be the same I imagine.

2! Hopefully there will be less war. More peace and quiet, and we can live in happiness. It would be an amazing thing for the future.

3! Maybe, we’ll break the language barrier between animals and humans and we can all live in harmony. And all that mushy gushy happy ever after stuff.

Mr. Bogush:

1! Oh jeez. I don’t know where Mr. Bogush would be. Probably he’d have great-grandchildren and he and his wife took off traveling the world.

2! Or probably he moveed to Australia because of their better teacher vacation times than he has here.

3! He could do whatever he wants in 50 years, I’m not sure what he’ll choose to do. But, I know one thing. He’ll make the best of it where ever he ends up.

And that’s what might happen in 50 years for me, where I live, the world around me, and Mr. Bogush might be. Where might you be in 50 years? Comment on what you think! Thanks!

Shocking!

Ok so I’m obsessed with things that light up. And so that includes the northern lights, flash lights, laser pointers, and of course: LIGHTNING! Now a weird thing about lightning is that supposedly it never hits the same spot twice. Oh ya? Tell that to my neighborhood. Almost 4 houses now all in a row have been struck by lightning. I mean! Jeez! So anyway, I think lightning is really pretty for the few seconds it’s in the sky. And so, I wanted to share some pics of lightning that I think are absolutely amazing! But, my inserting pics thing isn’t working :( so if you wanted to see them go to the following websites :) Sorry!
