Hmm…. October 28th in the year 2061? Well I would’ve just had my 63rd birthday! Wow, that’s 50 years from now. Ew! I’ll be old! That’s really weird to think about don’t you think? Having your own grandchildren? Being married! Jeez…. Let’s see just what might happen in 50 years for me….
Me:
1! I’ll probably be retired from teaching at Yale, because I hope that if I can’t find a solid paying job in Astronomy then I would either teach it at yale or hopefully teach it somewhere because it’s something I love and I also have good methods for how to teach thanks to adapting them from previous teachers I’ve had who actually did something “right” in teaching in a way that I enjoyed or liked the idea of.
2! I hope my friends and I would stay in touch through the years. Mostly because I don’t want to be the only old person I know and also becuase we can share stories about our grandchildren like my grandma does with her friends.
3! I hope to have a dog that I can be really close with just like how close I am with my current dog Goldie.
Where I live:
1! I hope to live in my grandparents current house, because their house is special to our family. My grandpa built that house with a couple of friends back when my dad was around my age today and it’s an amazing house! It really is beautiful.
2! The trees at that house were hand planted by my grandma all around her house as saplings and now they are humongus! They will probably be even bigger by the time I live there some day.
3! I hope the sky is still clear and not polluted because I want my kids and my grandkids to be abl to see the sky as I did when I was their age.
World:
1! The world will be farther in technology of course. Different presidents and dictator of course, but otherwise it will be the same I imagine.
2! Hopefully there will be less war. More peace and quiet, and we can live in happiness. It would be an amazing thing for the future.
3! Maybe, we’ll break the language barrier between animals and humans and we can all live in harmony. And all that mushy gushy happy ever after stuff.
Mr. Bogush:
1! Oh jeez. I don’t know where Mr. Bogush would be. Probably he’d have great-grandchildren and he and his wife took off traveling the world.
2! Or probably he moveed to Australia because of their better teacher vacation times than he has here.
3! He could do whatever he wants in 50 years, I’m not sure what he’ll choose to do. But, I know one thing. He’ll make the best of it where ever he ends up.
And that’s what might happen in 50 years for me, where I live, the world around me, and Mr. Bogush might be. Where might you be in 50 years? Comment on what you think! Thanks!
