Andrew Jackson’s influences in his life

I don’t really think that Andrew Jackson had a good childhood because, his childhood was ended by the Revolutionary war. It wiped out his immediate family also. Jackson’s oldest brother Hugh enlisted in a patriot regiment and died at Stono Ferry, from heatstroke.

I think that he was a good and stern president because he had people that were related to him that died in war so he was very strict probably. As a president i think that he was cranky and unhappy because because he probably had so many bad memories of the war. I say that because because his brother died of smallpox during the war and his mom did too. At the age of 15 he was an orphan.

Then he taught school a little, and then read law in North Carolina Later he got lots of land and slaves. Later in his life he got married toRachel Donelson Robards. Overall I think that Andrew was a good and successul presidents.

James Madison

James Madison was a 5 foot 4 inch tall 36 year old. He was the president during the war of 1812 and he was also fighting in the war. He was the military leader and he was married to Dolly Madison. He participated in the framing of the Virginia Constitution in 1776. Born in 1751, Madison was brought up in Orange County, Virginia, and attended Princeton. He was very smart and would be known today as either a nerd or a genius. He was the leader in a Virginia Assembly.

Symbols are needed

We create symbols in the United States so that we can be known as either a powerful, thoughtful or important country. Anyone in the world uses a symbol to either support their country or to be patriotic. We pedestrians in the United States are very patriotic for example one of our symbols is the 4Th of July. Everyone in the United States celebrates it and it symbolizes freedom and independence. We also need symbols because they help us become a better country and it can help us in time of need like the Statue of Liberty. The american flag is considered a symbol because it shows that we are all united in gods will. The American flag symbolizes trust, freedom, trustworthy, respect, and dependability.

Snowboarding

My passion would be to go snowboarding in Colorado. I would like to go there and snowboard because you can go snowboarding everyday. I like to snowboard because i have a lot of friends and they are a lot better than me and they challenge me a lot. Id like to try a melon on my snowboard. It is when you pull your snowboard up behind you. When I land a really hard trick I get very excited. I always wanted to go snowboarding in Colorado because it is beautiful and there is tons of snow everywhere and really good places to go snow boarding . I usually go during a vacation or when we get really powdered snow. Id like to go off a cliff and have a parachute . Id like to get a better snowboard so I can go faster and jump farther. If i have kids i plan on teaching them how to snowboard. Someday I hope that I either get a job involved with snowboarding or i become pro.

Something that i like to do

I like to go snowboarding alot. I really like to go snowboarding because i have a really big backyard and it is very steep. Me and my brother both go snowboarding and over Christmas break we go almost everyday to Mt. Southington.
