I am going to compare 2 different types of U.S Navy ships. The USS Chesapeake and the USS Wasp (LHD-1) which is being used today. One similarities between these ships is that :
- both built in Virginia
I’m sorry that I only put down 1 similarity but that was the only one I found in the description of each ship.
Four differences between these ships is that :
- Chesapeake was launched in 1799 but Wasp was 1987
- Chesapeake was captured in 1813
- Chesapeake’s type was a 38-gun Frigate but Wasp was an amphibious assault ship
- Chesapeake’s propulsion was a sail but Wasp had steam turbines, boilers, and shafts
Big differences between these ships, right?
