FrEeDoM

To me this picture represents freedom. The eagle is free because of its ability to fly and go were ever it wants to go.  The american flag in the picture represents freedom because when the people wrote the Constitution they wanted to make sure that everyone was a free person. That is why I think the USA made the eagle a sign of the America because it represents freedom.

    Hi Nolan,

    The crest of the ship I served on, The USS Missouri, mentions freedom in the motto. You can see it here: Strength for Freedom. What do you think the meaning of this motto might be? Why would a US battleship want a motto like this?
