Why do you take my pencils?

Every week my pencils have been stolen by the same person. How I know this is because she takes them out of my hand or takes them right in front of me like today she took it out of my hand and gave me a pen. All she said was “Can I borrow your pencil?” Before I can say anything she has already taken my pencil. I was mad because I hate using pens. Any ideas on what I should do or an idea on how to hide my pencils. Please write your ideas in the comment section. Please help.
