Andrew Jackson

I think that is good because then he won’t have to hear every thing from people that aren’t voting for him and he can concentrate on the campaign. Even though Jackson had the most popular votes he didn’t have enough electoral votes to automatically win the election amd it was up to the HOuse of Representatives.
Jackson had the most popular votes with 152,901 and 99 electoral votes. meanwhile John Quincy Adams had 11,023 popular votes and 84 electoral votes. Crawford came in third and Clay came in fourth following all of them. Since none received 50% of the electoral votes, under the 12th amendment the House of Representatives had to vote for the president. Since Clay came in fourth he couldn’t be part of the election.
I would vote for ANdrew Jackson because he didn’t want to run for president and since a Tennessee legislature nominated him for presidency and for the Senate again he stuck with it. I like how Jackson stuck with the election because that meant he was strong and wanted to change something.
