One reason I would support Andrew Jackson because he went to school for a very long time.This means that he is a very smart man and probably could make good decisions for our country.We need someone who could know what he was doing when he went to try and help other country’s also we need a god speaker.Jackson beats out the other candidates because he is smarter and more well rounded eh also taught at a school so he had some eperience with people.
Another reason is that he was in the military.This is good because he had experiance and he knows what its like he wouldnt put his soldiers though tough things like that as a president because then some would quit and soon there would be none.He was a major general in the war so he was able to take control of the people there which also helped because most army’s are big and if he can take control of those then he can take control of the country.He also got to lead troops in the first semi war in Florida.
If you talk to most of his friends they say he is a good and loyal person.We need a loyal president because we dont want someone who is going to lie and say he will do one thing for our country and then turn around and do another thing that could hurt us.Also a loyal person is good because you can always tell that they know what they are doing and you know that they wont do anything to harm their country.
Ways that elections are done differently now from back then is some many people are involved and your vote dosn’t get as much say as you think.We have so many requirements too like back then you could have been someone off the street saying you wanted to be president and you could run but its much more strict now.

I think that i am the person i am today because i have gone through so many hard times that i really dont want to have to go through again.For instance when my friend and i got in a huge fight it was so bad because we were so close and we always got in mini fights but this one was huge and i felt like i was losing my friend that i had been friends with forever.I think that after this fight i learned to be nicer and take my friends seriously. It aso made me a better person because i learned al ot from that experience and i also learned that i never want to go throughagain it really made me a better person because i learned to be nicer and take every person for what they are worth and never fight with your best friend.

My interpretation of the Star Spangled Banner
.Here it is.
Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Find the light by early morning and how we will happily cheer
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
The flag has big beautiful stripes and shining stars even through the hard fought battles o how we watched the great fighters that were flowing bravely
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
The red shooting object,the explosions happening in the air actually showed some one that our flag would still be there through anything
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Tell us that the flag of our country is still waving in the sky over America which is where we can be free

Dolley Madison does she was the one that when she knew the British were coming to set the white house on fire she said she wasn’t gonna leave until she had the picture of George Washington. She wanted to have it because she wanted to make a memory and she wanted us to have a picture of George because that’s the only picture that was documented.Dolley was almost the last person to get out of the burning building so that she could save that picture .Would you risk your life for a picture?I know i wouldn’t risk getting burned and possibly dying just for a picture i wouldnt care if there was a million dollars in there i would get my self out first then get my picture out my life is worth more than anything in the world.

When we create symbols we usually are in a time when there is something that we really enjoy and we want to have it forever so we make it into a symbol.We want to keep this symbol because if say 50 years from now we look at it we can go back ad think about why we ahd that symbol and it makes you think hard about what that means.
The American flag is considered a symbol because it shows us how we fought for freedom to become our own country.This is actually a good symbol because for every state in the U.S has a star that could be put on the flag.So our flag has changed over the last 50 years.

My passion is sports. I love to play all sports because to me they are all fun and interesting. I love realy love BASKETBALL ,SOCCER,and LACROSSE. One thing that I would to do with my sports is go to the pros one day…….that’ll never happen though(; I think that the one thing that holds me back from getting better at my passion is that I dont always practice. If I was to practice more I would deffinetly get better.I would love to make sports my number one priority but i know there is more important things in life so even though i love sports they wont be what i do for the rest of my life.
