We Need Constitution!

Author: robg | Filed under: Uncategorized

When I was researching the constitution I came across similarities and differences between that and my rules.  I think you will find it very interesting. So here are some examples.

When I was researching  the Constitution I found out similarities like that they wanted to make sure that America was free, like how my group and I made rules and we wanted to be free. We both did not want to be ruled under a dictatorship or anything other than being free. They wanted the government to be there for the people not the people be there for the government.  They didn’t want the the government to deny the requests of the people but they also knew the government must be strong. Our group knew that we had to be free to live successful instead of under ones rule. We both decided to be a free government.

Another time I was researching the Constitution I found out that the constitutional convention  met for four months, my group only met for a couple of days to make our constitution. The fifty-five delegates were seldom together because the weather was bad and travel was difficult. My group only met for a few days and we made our constitution. This difference makes there constitution much longer and more specific then my groups constitution.

When I was looking at the Constitution I saw that one rule was to freedom of religion and my group had that too. The first amendment protects the people’s rights to religion, to speak freely, to assemble (meet), to address (petition) the government, and of the press to publish. Just like how one of my groups rule is freedom of religion which mean you can believe in whatever you want. My groups rule is basically the same as when they originally wrote the constitution and made the first amendment.

I read another amendment which protects the right to own guns which is similar to my groups self defense rule. The constitution has the second amendment which protects peoples right to own guns. Which is like my groups self defense rule that we wrote to protect people from enemies because the right to own a gun is basically the right to protect yourself with a weapon against enemies which is self defense. So the constitution has another rule that is the same as ours.

Isn’t it cool how they are so similar. Are rules have some similes and some differences but they are mostly the same. We have rules that are very similar so its like I wrote some of the constitution without even knowing it. Without the Constitution who knows where we would be.
