Their is a story that George Washington cut down his family cherry tree. His father found out and asked him if he did cut down it. George said yes. This story shows how much honesty meant to George.
I think this story is false because their is no proof that this happened. Their are no photos because of the time period and we cant tell if the paintings are 100% real. im not saying its 100% either way. I’m saying that im leaning towards the false side because we do not have a piece of material that prooves this story is true.
George might have been a very honest man when he was older and matured but he was a kid then.
