Student rights

Comments(3) Well I think we should have the right to learn stuff we want to know other wise why learn about it. Also I think we should choose our classes cause something could be too hard or too easy and it would be a complete waste my time. Also I think lunches should be free because our tax money pays for the food. We should be alowed to bring pets to school if there friendly because it helps study animals and the kids that are alergict can go in anotgher room. We should be allowed to come in late that way we sleep more and you know the saying better late than never you.

I like the idea of having schools open for a lot longer, e.g. 8.00 – 7.00, and teachers would work either the morning or the afternoon shift (and have the rest of the day off). Kids could choose whihc time they came and what lessons they went to, but they would have to do some basic minumums, like obviously everyone has to learn reading, writing, maths, because otherwise they would never get jobs and then the taxpayer would have to support them, and why should we?
But I don’t agree about providing free food. I think people should take responsibility for that themselves. And I don’t agree about the pets: imagine how you would feel if you had to be by yourself all the time just because you were allergic to cats or something?
