Right now we’re doing a unit on imagration. In this case right now we have to pretend that we are the new leader setting laws on immagration. WhatI would do is make it that anybody can become a citizen of the United States. To me as long as they have no criminal backround in another country, I believe they can become a legal immigrant. Our other question is should they know the English language if they are to move to the United States. I believe it is recommended, but they don’t have to know english. They should then live in an area where using their language is common. I would recommend it though due to the fact it is the main language in the United States.

This post is about how positive and/or negative relationships have effects on future decisons. I will give you an example of one of my relationships. See for me if you have read past posts you already know about my dad. If not then here is the story. I still live here in Connecticut but my dad lives all the way in California, about 20-30 minutes outside of downtown Los Angeles. It has a negative influence on me because I only see him 2-3 times each year. I learned form this though. I learned that if your going to love someone then makes sure you will always love them forever. Relationships can have an influence on future decisions. It’s true. Think about one of your past relationships or current relationship. Whether it is your family member, friend, or maybe even boyfriend/girlfriend. I Know decide that if I wnat to have a relationship with anyone, I have to know whether or not I will be with them for awhile.

Have you ever wondered what a symbol is? Ask your self that. To answer that you can’t think of a specific one. We create symbols when we have to. Have you ever seen a team, country, team, anything besides a person have a symbol? I take that back, even people have symbols. Look at the President of the United States. Even regular people today have symbols for themselves. We create symbols when we need something bigger than words to describe something. There is an old saying still used today what states that a picture is worth a thousand words. Your brain processes pictures 80,000 times faster than a word. That is why things have symbols. One of our questions is why would that American Flag be considered a symbol. My answer is it symbolises the United States. It’s colors the stars and stripes show what America really is. They represent each state and part of the Untied States, and everybody in America. The American flag has been called a “living symbol”. I believe they call it that becase it shows a group of people and it brings a group of people together. It represents more than just a piece of land. It represents a nation full of people and it’s history and what the United States stands for ever second of every day. To me it symbolizes a nation. It shows how everything this country has gone through and how we still stand strong.

This is a picture of an American Flag rising after the September 11th Terrorist Attacks. This was America’s Darkest day in history. We rose that flag to honor those Amercan’s that died. We also rose it to show how we are still standing after a tragety. 

I asked my brother once what does the American Flag mean to him. he siad that it meant What America is. It stands for freedom, justice, honor, and it stands for the land and everyone it it. 

Let me ask you this what does this mean to you?

Washington D.C. The capitol of one of the most powerful countries in the world today. The Heart of democracy. You wonder what would happen if Washington D.C. was ever invaded. Well guess what. During the War of 1812 America was invaded by the British. The City wasn’t that big or with a lot of security like it was today. In 1812 the capitol wasn’t anymore guarded of big buildings then a regular small American town. N0t a lot of people remember this because the War of 1812 was nicknamed ”The Forgoten War”. The burning was a retaliation from when American forces invaded Canada and burned down the Parliment building in York, Canada aka Toronto (controled by the British at the time). James Madison, the President of the United States, was worried that the British would march on and take over Washington D.C. He gave 2 orders: one was to gather any militia that could be found to protect the capitol, and the other was to gather any important documents in the city and taken out of Washington. Two men took a bag and carefully put in The U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of the Indepence in the bag and carried it out of the city. When the British and the Americans met, 6 miles east of Washington D.C. The Americans got slaughtered and any remaining militia retreated. By nightfall the British entered the capitol. They first went to the capitol building and decided to burn it down. Meanwhile in the White House, Dolley Madison, even after the order to evacuate the White House was given, she took the picture of the George Washington and chopped it out of it’s frame. She said it was for future generations. The British took burned down any building they could get there hands on, The Capitol, Library of Congress, the even burned down the White House. Troops outside of Washington could she the flames form 60 miles away. The next day mother nature decided to fight on the American side. Around 2 PM next day a surprising Hurricane hit Washington. Tornados formed, lightning struck and it rained really bad. After the storm the British retreated. So the next time you think to yourself, what would happen if the United States was invaded, think about the War of 1812.

Well it is 2010. If your reading this you most like likely you already know that is 2010. I have a lot of passions. With the fall of the new decade a lot of passions presented themselves in the past and still present currently. A lot still stayed though. I have a lot currently. One of my passions that I still love and always will love is traveling. I don’t mean to sound like everybody else. I have traveled a lot over the past few years. My dad move to California when I was eight years old. It’s been five years since then and I have been to California almost 10 times. I still live with my mom here in Connecticut. I have been there to visit my dad a bunch of times. Not just California too, I have been to Florida about 4 times. One time when I went to California, even though my dad lives just south of Los Angeles we drove up to San Francisco. I have been to Chicago, IL before when we were visiting my grandparents in Ohio and we planned to go to Chicago. I have been to Las Vegas, Nevada 5 times before becuase my dad lives 4 hours from Las Vegas. You may be wondering, why take a kid to Vegas? You be surprised how much a kid in Las Vegas can do and have a lot of fun. I have been to your basic cities to atleast 5 times each, Boston and New York City. Also to Vermont and upstate New York a couple of times before because I Have family there. I’m not trying to brag. i’m just trying to show why this is a passionate and influenced my life a lot. I Believe that I will always have this passionate for as long as I live. Notice that is only in the United States. When I grow up i plan on going to other countries and other contienents around the world. This is special to me not matter if you think it is or not.

What a hero is, is anybody around you. It could be your parents, teachers, maybe a sports player, maybe a firefighter, it could be anyone. A hero is somebody who has the courage to do the right thing for the good of the world. You don’t need a guy that dress up in a cape and saves lives with his/her super power to have heros. Sure there is evil in the world but sometimes people like the people listed above are can be heros, maybe everyday heros to you. Anybody can be a hero but it only takes the courage to do what is right for the good of the world to be that hero.

You ever wonder what is out there? Why we’re were we are? What if we aren’t the only ones? Read this and find out the truth. Did you know there could be a parallel universe on the tip of your nose in a different dimension. How do we know that what we can see in the universe is on the tip of someone else’s nose. You know how I said that there could be another universe on somebody’s nose in a different dimension. WHAT IF THAT IS US? We could be the one that is on the tip of a nose that could be our universe. Also the fact that we have not found life yet other than the ones on Earth. Well if there isn’t now there was at one point. There was creeks found on the moon and mars. The moon titan orbiting Saturn can sastain life. So basically I am saying this: WE AREN’T ALONE. You may think I am crazy but these facts are true wether you belive it or not.

The perfect classroom to me looks to me like with a lot of history like world war 2 and with lots of things about astronomy. It has a tv with lots a good movies and an atlas of the world and the united states.
