Tecumseh was one of the greatest leaders ever and I do not think that the text book talked about him enough. He was a warrior and also a great speaker. Tecumseh became an allie with Britian and help take over fort Detroit. He thought that the white people had no write to take the land that the indians had claimed for themselves. If I got to re write the textbook I would have added more basic info about him. The only thing the book did good about when talking about him were only what all his goals were in life I would of wrote when he was born and how long he was alive for and also how he even died. Not only that but I also would have talked about his brother Tenskwatawa and about how him and his brother fought together. I did not get a good picture of what he looked like.

The Knicks

Last week the NBA trade came to its deadline. There was one trade that happened that many people liked but yet also many did not like. Right before the trade deadline cam to an end the NBA New York Knicks got two of the best basketball players. I love the New York Knickes yet I do not like the trade that they made. Yes I know that they got two of the best player but also the gave up there four best that they had just for them. But not only did they do that, but they also gave up somthing that could of helped them a lot and that was a first round draft pick for next year. I love the players that they have but I still think that they should have stayed with there old team because I think that they were more powerful then.

Super Bowl!

This year in the super bowl for this year it is the Pittsburgh Steelers vs packers. I am hoping that the Steelers win over the Packers. It has been a while since the packers have been in it. I think this is gonna be a good game because both of the teams play at the same skill level as eachother. But I think that the Steelers have a better quarterback on there team so they may have a small advantage of the other team but not by much at all. Comment and tell me who you think is going to win this year.

A Good Leader.

A good leader is a person that knows what is right for people and also a person that is good at comunicating with other people. The way that people that come leaders is that they have some of the qualities but they need to earn respect and put there mind to something and become determened to achieve that goal. A time that I was a leader was when i had to pitch during a baseball game because a pitcher mainly controls the speed and most of the game. But there are times when i am also a follower for example when I am in school and I have to learn, the teacher is in control of the class and they are teaching the class what they need to do and leading you through it. I believe that anyone in the world can be a leader as long as they are person that can be trusted and is nice to others and they like to here what you have to say because they trust what you are doing. I believe that I am a leader most of the time I believe. The reason i think this is because I like to talk alot and also I like to try to get my friends to agree with me and try to tell them when things are right about somthing or when they are wrong about it.

I can’t wait for the next Patriots came to come because they are playing the Jets and I know that it is going to be a really good game. The Patriots were able to get a by the first week of the playoffs and did not have to play in the first week of the playoffs. Me and my dad can not wait for the game because me and him like the opposite teams. My dad likes the jets while I do not like them at all I like the Pats. I hope that Next week the patriots win and eventually make it all the way to the SUPER BOWL!!!

My Santa Dollar!

There are a couple reasons that make this item so special to me. When I think of this dollor I think of my great grandfather. When I was 8 years old my great gradfather had passed away and i had to help clean out his house. My dad had told me to go down to his basement and bring somthing outside to help move everything. I was carrying this really dusty box, but when i got outside i tripped over a chair my dad had moved. A lot of papers fell out of the box and when i was gathering them together i came across this dollor that looked very strange to me. So i showed my dad and he had told me that it was a Christmas dollor that the only make at Christmas time and it came out in 1988. Now whenever I look at the dollor it reminds me of my great grandfafther.

The Constitution!

You may sometimes say to yourself should the constitution be as strict as it is or should it be loose. I beleive that you should want it to be stricter because waith out all of the rules the world would be so much different in the world. People would be doing so many different things without anything in the world being able to stop them since there may not be a law about it. So I think that you should want the Constitution to be more strict so that the world does not go crazy.

I can not wait for the year April 28, 2013. On that day is when I turn 16 and then i am offically old enough to start drivimg school to be able to get my drivers licence. Not only that but my parents said that they will get me my own hunting licence and my dad said that he will take me hunting that day as well. To be able to go hunting with my dad the day that I turn 16 would make being 16 one of the best things in the world for me because i have always wanted one but i have not been old enough. I am old enough now but my parents said that they want to wait until they think that I am offically old enough to make sure i am responsable to be able to handle a gun.

Old vs New Navy.

In 1794 the Navy was offically made. The Boats then and now are very different from eachother by a mile. The old ships were equiped with about 100 guns on the ship and they were not made the same as they use to be. Back then all of the ships were made of wood and were not that strong as they are now. Currently the ships are made of steal which makes them much harder to take down than they use to be. The ones now are also much bigger than they use to be. The new ships have hight powerd missles which hlep make defending them selfs much easier.

Washingtons Cherry Tree.

You may be wondering did washington really cut down his fathers cherry tree or no. Well the answer is that it is not true and he never did. One true thing about the story is that George Washington really did have his own hatchet thought. He was given the hatchet when he was six years old from his dad. The myth was told that one day when his father came home he came to find that his cherry tree was cut down. When his father came home he said to George did you cut down my cherry tree and washington said i can not tell a lie. Now you know that the story of washington cutting down his fathers cherry tree is a myth.
