Andrew Jackson was an orphan. His dad and mom died in the Revolutionary War and his 2 brothers had died as well. He moved from family to family. He had become a very good lawyer though he had taught himself to become one. He lost his first election for president. When he ran a second time he had won. Just before he became president his wife, Rachel Jackson, died and just before Christmas. It is said that she was assessed. For his first day as president there was a party. Everyone was invited. It was a wild party. After that he was more cautious. Although he used his power to veto in great use. He was a unique president because he had a different background than all the other presidents. All of the previous presidents had a political background. Andrew Jackson was America’s first “Frontier President.” Democratically Andrew Jackson was good due to past expiriences helped him to live his term and do things for the best of America.
