My Painting

Well, I’ve told you all before that I love to paint in one of my first posts. So, this is a post of a picture I’ve painted last year. I meant to post this millions of years ago (yeah, I know that’s over exaggeration), and I forgot, so I’m just going to post this now. Enjoy. :)

For those copyright crazies out there in the world ;) and are looking at this picture, there is obviously no link that would lead you to another website. I promise you, try clicking on the picture. See? There won’t be another window opening up on this page. ALTHOUGH, it may enlarge the photo. But do you want to know why it won’t lead you to another site? It’s because I own this picture. :)  But if you find this picture on another site, (this excludes, www.collaborationnation.wikispaces.com/trinhv ) can you please tell me? Thanks.

Temple Of Vietnam

Recently I’ve went to a temple in Vietnam called the Temple of Vũng Tàu; if you ask I really do not know how to pronouce it for you. Like most temples, most people would go there to volunteer to work and make the place look beautiful. It has been told that if you were to volunteer, the Gods would give you thanks by giving you great achievements and health in life.

Most people would go to the temple to pray for their loved ones, or themselves. Many people would pray for their loved one’s sickness to go away or for more money since there are many people in Vietnam that are poor. They would ask the Gods questions and will soon find the answers when the Gods give them opportunities to do the things that they want or need to do.

Below is the picture of where you pray to the Gods. The three Gods are the ones front and center on the table.

Yellow Watermelon

I’m sure not many of you heard of a yellow watermelon, but even if you did, I just felt like telling you about it. The yellow watermelon is.. obviously yellow. The first time I tasted it, I noticed that there was a huge difference between the yellow ones and the red ones. First off, yellow watermelons are sweeter then the original ones. Not only that but they’re juicier too. So next time you go and cut open a watermelon and find that it’s yellow, don’t throw it away. Try it, and I promise you, you won’t regret it.

Below is a picture that I took of a yellow watermelon that I’m eating right now as I’m typing this sentence.

New Things 3/2/10

Hello, peoples(: I haven’t been on this blog in a while, and I started to miss it. Alright, new things?

Have I ever told you guys that I’m starting to write my own book? Well, I’ve started for a while now. More of last year. I’m not exactly going to tell you what it is about (smiles hugely), so you’re just going to have to wait until I finish the book. (Muahahah) Which, should be by towards the end of the year. That’s pretty much my New Year’s resolution too; complete my book and get off of soda for one whole year. The second one is pretty tough but it is possible.

Secondly, my mom’s birthday is today. She’s turning 41, I just wanted to share that with everyone. And mom, if you’re reading, happy birthday!

And lastly.. I’m going back to Vietnam for vacation(: Gosh, I seem to be telling everyone this today. Well, yes I’m going back to Vietnam. I haven’t been there in about 11 years and I kind of miss it because my mom’s whole side of the family is there, plus not to mention I was born there. Another thing that makes me oh-so unique. To conclude, I can’t wait to go back. Here’s a picture of what it looks like there.

Huh, A Gold Rock?

Hey everyone. Today I just really want to show you an interesting picture that I found while on Flickr. I want everyone who views this post to at least comment on what you think the picture means.

Here’s a hint, what exactly stands out in the picture. And why it does? How do you think this represents the social life of average people now a days?

Book Recommendations

Well, it’s about 9:00 at night; I’m tired, but I can’t sleep; plus it’s too early. So guess where I’m at? Here! Writing another post, yes. I think I’m getting obsessed, blogging is pretty fun and I’ve never really known that until now. Isn’t that something?

Well, you’ve read the title. I hope. Book recommendations! A book that I’m sure everyone would enjoy is Maximum Ride. I’ve found my new love to these books about three months ago, and I just really really really really really want to share that with you. I hope you don’t mind.

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment (Volume #1)

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment (Volume #1)

Brief summary:

Maximum Ride is pretty much about this six kids, no parents, nothing. For about half of their lives, they’ve lived in pretty much dog cages and being experimented on by evil scientist. Yes, you heard me, evil. An experiment that are experimented on them is called ‘The Maze’. These kids would be put into huge mazes and they would have to find their ways out at a certain time or they would be zapped by these lasers.

Why these kids have been captured? Well, here’s the catch, they have wings. Immediately right after they were born, they were kidnapped and put into the science labs so they can be injected with 2% avian DNA ‘causing them to sprout wings. Well, they’ve lived like this for quite a while until they met this ‘nice’ scientist, Jeb. He took care of them and was pretty much like a father figure to them and he later then escapes with them. Jeb lives with the six kids for about a year until he disappears. So this then leaves the oldest, Max, to take care of the group until four years later, Angel, the youngest member in the group, ends up being captured by Erasers, these wolf like creatures.

When Max and the flock go to get Angel back, they end up being captured too; in which this leads to Max meeting Jeb again and the first thing Jeb says to Max is, “Max, you have to save the world.”

*Sorry for leaving you guys a “cliffhanger”. But you should know why I did so. Anyways, read the book. You will love it. And you won’t regret it. Trust me, it’s amazing.*

*Just a note. Sometimes the snow won’t work. Just sayin’. I know, sorry, don’t worry it bursted my bubble too.):

The Core To A Relationship With A Friend

Friends are always dependable. Some may give you negative experiences and/ or positive experiences in life. They may be a long term friend or a short term friend.

The core to someone’s friendship is always important and has a strong link between each other because that’s the place where you’re able to trust each other. You would know where the soft spots are of each other, what they can or can not do/ what they’re capable of.

Sometimes, a relationship with another wouldn’t exactly be so great. So in the end, you may ‘break it off’ with them, and finally decide that they’re not the greatest influence on you. This will end up giving you further notice that, before you trust another person, you must know them inside and out, and their flaws and what nots. You would have to know when you feel the strong relationship with you and the other. So before you may get into some serious stuff, like go to a party with them, you must trust them that they’re not going to do anything bad, for example: drinking underage, so they wouldn’t impact you with that bad influence.

A personal experience is the relationship with my friends and I. We all know each other inside and out, what we’re capable of, and if we can trust each other. For sure, I have a better connection in trusting my friends because we all experience many things that are alike, since we’re all teens, and we go through pretty much most of the challenges of everyday life together. My friends and I may bug the heck out of each other sometimes, but we’re all pretty much siblings and are able to understand how we all feel about life and the things that may come out to be unexpected sometimes.

Should We Judge By Intentions Or Actions?

Most people would judge others on their actions because it’s the first thing that they see from them. Usually, you would start being mad at them because of what they had done. Before, you see the reason why they have done it. Or, it may the other way around. Someone may have done something on purpose, and intended to do it on purpose because they are planning to do something bad after that.

In my opinion, I really think it’s best to judge on someone by their intentions because it’s always best to know why the person has done that action before you go complaining to them on why they have done it.

An example is: It was your birthday and you’ve got a gift from your Aunt. Right when you open it, you realize that you absolutely hate it. Your Aunt’s intention was that you would like the gift. In your view, you would think that she got you a gift you hated on purpose. Finally, you figured out the reason why she has got you that gift; and you then realize the she didn’t mean to get you that gift.

The example above is trying to say that it’s best to know the reason why someone has done something before you judge them.
