Book Recommendations

Well, it’s about 9:00 at night; I’m tired, but I can’t sleep; plus it’s too early. So guess where I’m at? Here! Writing another post, yes. I think I’m getting obsessed, blogging is pretty fun and I’ve never really known that until now. Isn’t that something?

Well, you’ve read the title. I hope. Book recommendations! A book that I’m sure everyone would enjoy is Maximum Ride. I’ve found my new love to these books about three months ago, and I just really really really really really want to share that with you. I hope you don’t mind.

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment (Volume #1)

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment (Volume #1)

Brief summary:

Maximum Ride is pretty much about this six kids, no parents, nothing. For about half of their lives, they’ve lived in pretty much dog cages and being experimented on by evil scientist. Yes, you heard me, evil. An experiment that are experimented on them is called ‘The Maze’. These kids would be put into huge mazes and they would have to find their ways out at a certain time or they would be zapped by these lasers.

Why these kids have been captured? Well, here’s the catch, they have wings. Immediately right after they were born, they were kidnapped and put into the science labs so they can be injected with 2% avian DNA ‘causing them to sprout wings. Well, they’ve lived like this for quite a while until they met this ‘nice’ scientist, Jeb. He took care of them and was pretty much like a father figure to them and he later then escapes with them. Jeb lives with the six kids for about a year until he disappears. So this then leaves the oldest, Max, to take care of the group until four years later, Angel, the youngest member in the group, ends up being captured by Erasers, these wolf like creatures.

When Max and the flock go to get Angel back, they end up being captured too; in which this leads to Max meeting Jeb again and the first thing Jeb says to Max is, “Max, you have to save the world.”

*Sorry for leaving you guys a “cliffhanger”. But you should know why I did so. Anyways, read the book. You will love it. And you won’t regret it. Trust me, it’s amazing.*

I know right? I love love love love love these series as much as you love Harry Potter! I’m obsessed, like I was with Twilight; and I seriously can’t get my mind off of Maximum Ride. If we talk about a random subject, somehow I would end up relating it to Maximum Ride. I’ll just find a way, and usually I really don’t know how I do it. Yesss, I’ve read the first five chapters or so of Witch And Wizard and I’m absolutely hooked on those books. Well, not as much as I am with Maximum Ride. Anyways, I haven’t read the whole book ’cause I’m out of money): So I’m just going to wait until I have enough saved up to get the book. Haha, nahh, I actually think the same too! His books are really easy (my apologies to you James Patterson, if you’re reading this) to read. Hey, maybe it’s only because we’re advid readers? I don’t know, but for sure I know I read a whole lot more books then the average teen these days(:

Oh my god! I LOVE that series. I’ve read every single book from that series it is like the best series. I also read Witch and Wizard, I would defiantly recommend that to anyone who liked the Harry Potter series and likes to have a semi-easy read. James Paterson in my opinion writes a lot of easy reads for me. Sorry James if you’re reading this, which to me is a little unlikely, but it could happen!
