Howdy Bloggers,
Today im going to talk about whether you should believe in a strict or loose competition. I think we should believe in a strict one because if we believed in a loose one people could say that the Constitution did not mean that and it had a different meaning. Also many things would be different whether or not it is Constitutional. That is why i believe in a strict Constitution.

After doing project about the constitution in my class i have found some rules that i haven’t even heard of such as there must be a certain number of people present to meet and members not there could be fined. Isn’t that a rule that many wouldn’t know of?

I think the most important right given to us is the right to a trial the 6th amendment. The amendment is as follows: If you’re arrested, you have a right to have your trial pretty soon, and the government can’t keep you in jail without trying you. The trial has to be public, so everyone knows what is happening. The case has to be decided by a jury of ordinary people from your area. You have the right to know what you are accused of, to see and hear the people who are witnesses against you, to have the government help you get witnesses on your side, and you have the right to a lawyer to help you. The amendment also states we have a right to a lawyer which is also very important because if the person being tried could not afford a lawyer then they would not know how to prove them self not guilty. This law impacts me because many people around the US are tried in court they all have a say before they can be convicted. If there were no trials then people who had done nothing wrong could be sent to jail for no reason. Want to know more about the amendments? Click here.
