Did some research on gangs and how it all started.

(Feb. 10, 2012) A topic that interests me deeply happened to be gang violence and the history of it. I wanted to know how it all started, how groups are made, what the different names mean, the famous gangs from around the United States and around the world. I want to know what the reasons for joining gangs are for. Do they have nothing left in their lives, that it comes down to joining gangs? Do they think it’s cool? Which obviously, IT’S NOT! But I wanna know the real reasons and the real facts for sure!

(Feb. 6, 2012) Hello! Over the past couple of weeks, I have been assigned to just research anything that interests me that I do not know too much about. To start, I searched nightmares and what causes them to happen. I honestly got bored of the topic and decided to move on to another topic.

Did you ever wonder what the worlds most essential events may have been? The Holocaust is definitely one that has to be mentioned. I’ve always wondered, “Why is the Holocaust such an important event in world history?” Well, after a brief understanding of the Holocaust, I now know why it is and you will also know once you’ve read all of this. I can guarantee you that you’ll know everything essential about the Holocaust to make it one of the most demoralizing events our world has ever witnessed. Are you prepared to witness our worlds most tragic event ever?
There’s no way you’ll understand the Holocaust if you don’t know what caused it. It started with the powerful country of Germany, led by Adolf Hitler along with his army, called the Nazi’s. They were extremely intelligent by creating alliances with some bordering countries such as Italy, to make them even more powerful. 1939 was the year Hitler had made his invasion on Poland. However, this was let go from France and Great Britain, who declared war on Germany, to start World War II. As years past, more land and people have been killed horribly. Their was a projected 45-60 million people killed. Hitler was evil and cruel to every innocent person he killed. Why would Adolf do such a thing to all of those people?
The Holocaust was full of devastation due to Hitler. The cruel man did all of this destruction on Jewish people because he felt it was rational to have blonde hair and blue eyes. This meant that every Jewish person who fitted those attributes received a numbered code. Eventually, the Nazi’s sent the Jews to concentration camps to make them suffer severely to the point of death. An example of these Jewish peoples death was by putting a special poisoning in the Jewish’s showers! Approximately six million Jews died from these concentration camps. The Holocaust was absolutely destroying the Jewish natives, but also the other millions killed by Hitler and his army. Nobody could stop them, or could they?
These Germans could not continue their diabolical power or else more and more lives would be taken away. In 1944 and 1945, the remaining Jews were lucky as ever when the United States and Russia teamed up to defeat the Nazi’s to end World War II. Moreover, the Nazi’s leader, Adolf Hitler, died in 1945, which caused the Germans to free the Jews from the concentration camps and surrender. Thanks to the allies, United States and Russia, this was the end of the Holocaust. Without that help, who knows, maybe we could still be in the Holocaust.
Now you must be able to realize that the Holocaust is one of the worlds most significant and essential events. What caused this to happen was World War II and it’d be challenging to understand what happened in the Holocaust without this event. Furthermore, Adolf Hitler will go down to be one of the most cruel people in the world after what he did to these innocent Jews for having blue eyes and brown hair. Most importantly, without the help of the two allies, the United States and Russia, we could possibly not have still ended the Holocaust and more and more Nazi soldiers would keep on going with their excruciating punishments to everyone. The United States and Russia taught a lesson to persevere through anything until that mission or goal is accomplished. The Holocaust is truly one of the most crucial events in world history and it’ll definitely be an event to remember.

The last assignment in my Social Studies class was an unordinary task. What my partner and I had to do was that we had to create a song on a farmer from the 1800′s, named Nathaniel Walker. We were given information about some of the materials on his farm and some of his background before his death, and then conduct a song on the essence of Walker’s life. It was challenging because we were not very experienced on making music. What was easy is that we were given plenty of information to make the song. What made this task hard is that if we were in need for any information, Google did not allow us information on the farmer. Our song included the suff on Nathaniel’s farm and how that tied in with his life. From reading the information given, it must have been extremely challenging for him to live, compared to now. Overall, this was a very solid project and my partner and I did pretty decent in my opinion.

An object in my house that tells someone about me and my family is my basketball. It shows that I love to play basketball and my family loves to come watch me play and have fun. Another object would be our living room T.V. It is the place we love to spend time with each other as a family and watch T.V. while doing that. Another object that tells something about me and my family is our India national flag. It shows that obviously, we’re Indian! An object that tells people about me is my iPod. It shows that I love listening to music and it is my favorite thing to do besides basketball. My final object in my house is my Rajon Rondo basketball jersey. This tells people that my favorite basketball player is Rajon Rondo. These are the 5 objects in my house that tell people about me and my family.

The application “Idea Flight,” was a great experince for me to making new creative ways to present projects that I wanted to share to the class. In the past four weeks that we have been using this iPad presentation, the teacher was the iPad presenter and used it to create three different slides introducing the app, on the constitution, and a 47 slide presentation on Thanksgiving. I created two presentations and I used the app to make presentations on the second amendment of the United States and the freedom of speech on the first amendment. What was good about this presentation was that I found it easier to talk to the class because they werelooking at the pictures or words on my slides and not looking at me to get me nervous. What I believe should be changed about this app is that it should give creative ways to create a presentations because once people keep using the app to make presentations, it will soon become boring to the people watching the presentation and will make them less interested. If “Idea Flight” supplies different creative choices to make presentations, then people will be interested and want to know more about their presentations. So I think that should added to the app. I do reccomend that people should use this app. With the idea that I reccomended, I think that “Idea Flight” will be a more well known app, making people wanting to use it.

My life in a sentence: My life may not be the one I dreamed of, but I’m more than thankful for what I have.

My Loved Ones

Where would you be without your loved ones? If no ones there to care for you, love you, and always be there for you, life’s tough. You’re loved ones can be friends, family, you’re wife, you’re husband, ANYBODY! I always want those people to be in my life at all times so they can help me through life and carry me out to be the best I want to be. My number one goal in life is to accomplish all of my dreams, and with the ones that I love and always are there to help me, I’m capable of doing that. Every friend in your life helps you with anything you need and you should always be more than thankful to have them, no matter how good or bad your life may be. No one person is perfect, but if you combine you and the others you love, you’re more than perfect. That’s what this amazing world is built off of. Now if you answered “no” to my introductory sentence, I’ll ask you again. Where would you be without your loved ones?
