In a 25 year life spam, I would live everyday like it’s my last because that’s just not enough. I wouldn’t go to school as long because I would only have four years left after college is done. I’d probably go until high school just so I have at least a general sense of education in me. I’d probably party a lot since I just want to live a happy and memorable life. As Bob Marley says, “Don’t worry, be happy.” And in a situation like that, I’d definitely follow that quote. I would play as much basketball as I possibly can so I could go down to be the best I can be throughout 25 years of living. I would find any job that hires 13 year old’s so I can invest in loads of money and spend most of it on things that will make my life the best that can it possibly be, such as a house to party in. I don’t want a car because I don’t want to travel anywhere far. I don’t like traveling that much, so I’d probably just use the bike I already have, r maybe walk or jog someplace else. This is how I’d enjoy a 25 year life span. Party!

There are many different forms of creativity. My most favorite has to be music. Everywhere I go, music is in my head! I might not be able to sing but I especially enjoy listening to rap music. The way rappers rhyme flows in such a unique way. I listen to rap music wherever I go. In the car, on my way to school, and even during school! It sticks to my head like butter sticks to bread. See, that rhymed. It never gets out of my head! But that’s why I love it and enjoy listening to it.

What is a fishbowl discussion? You don’t know? Okay, well it is basically one four to five people group discussing a topic. Almost as if it’s a debate, except there’s no screaming and yelling. Moreover, it’s all about asking questions to people instead of stating your opinion by starting a phrase with the word “I.” People had their own view of each question and the more different opinions and questions talked about to each other, the more the conversation flowed.I discovered some very interesting quotes from some of the discussions that made me wonder. In the discussion, I heard somebody say, “Laws are really important. Without them, our world would be destroyed.” This made me think about what our world would be like without laws. And it would be absolutely hectic! Also, somebody had said. “People should be meeting new friends, but that also might take away your friendship away with other old friends.” I admired this quote because it brings wonders to my head about me losing my old friends, which I’d never want to do, but I’d also like to meet new friends, so I’d really wonder what to do about that. Another quote had to be one person that said, “Do you think our generation is just different from others?” This quote made me laugh a little because after noticing and actually thinking about that, I agree that it’s different, and in a negative way because for example, I know some kids these days act very different compared like some kids from the 1980′s. Kids now are sometimes rude and obnoxious. Sometimes, I’m one of them and that just shows you how different we are over the past years. This is what I enjoyed about the fishbowl discussion and I highly recommend others to try it out. It’s really fun!

On the day of October 28, 2061, I envision that the world will be practically destroyed for the United States because I believe that the economic power for us will be very low. Also, I believe that China will be the country that is the highest power because they are already starting to take over the United States economically. Most importantly, I predict that hunger is going to be an even larger problem to other countries because the rate of deaths just unfortunately decreases year by year, to the point in which many more deaths will occur, which will drive our world insane. Also on this date, I picture myself living in three different places. One would be Boston, Massachusetts because I’m a huge fan of the Boston Celtics and I hope to go to a couple of games as I get older. Another area would be in Connecticut because I want to support the UConn Huskies in basketball because I wish to play for them someday. Either play there or at Duke University, which is my first choice, however, it is very far away from where I live. Lastly, I hope to be living somewhere in Florida, such as Miami, because I love the hot weather. I can’t stand the cold! On this date, I predict that I will be retired from the N.B.A. (National Basketball Association) living wherever I choose to, making tons of money, hopefully, at least. Also, I wish to be in close touch with all of my friends from throughout my life because I love my friends. They’re what brought me to the point I’m proud to be at now. I predict that I will be the owner of a Ferrari, that is made the year of 2061, because those cars look amazing. I have one prediction for my teacher that I will someday see him and thank him for all of the knowledge he has given me throughout the entire school year, even though it’s not even close to being over, yet I still learned tons. Then I will wish him an enjoyable life, because that’s what he deserves.

What are some major global issues? There’s many of them, but I really focus on hunger to be one of the main concerns. Hunger is one major issue throughout the entire world. Did you know that about every year, 15 million children are dead due to hunger? Poor kids, that’s so unfortunate. Now, when I hear that there are hunger problems, I usually think about Africa, since that’s the place that is most common for it, but hunger is found all over the globe! One essential facts an=bout this topic is that 925 million people do not have enough to eat, which is more than the populations of USA, Canada and the European Union combined. (Click here to find more facts) How come this occurs? This may happen mainly due to poverty, which means people that live under poor circumstances and do not have much money. Poverty can happen if people are to lazy and won’t get a job, but unfortunately, some people live under poverty because they have no rights and their government is weak and poor as well, so the people cannot go out and find a way to receive money to buy food. That is why people are donating money and food to countries without that stuff throughout the entire world, to prevent people from dying due to hunger. I hope that this problem could be solved. It would really help if everyone contributed to donating.

A trending current event that is happening in sports is in football. Stanford University’s quarterback, Andrew Luck, is a projected first round draft pick next season for the N.F.L. (National Football League) Draft, where N.F.L. managers pick the top players from college. That is an outstanding accomplishment! Moreover, Luck is the top quarterback in the NCAAF throughout the entire country! And you better believe that all of that is skill. No Luck. Anyways, Andrew is doing so well that many teams in the N.F.L. are failing to win games on purpose, just so that they can receive Luck before any other team does. They are losing because the teams that do the worst in the season before are given the higher opportunity to choose the best overall players in the N.F.L. draft. Andrew Luck must be one skilled football player. Lucky him!

I am working on a stop action presentation to do in my Social Studies class on the Boston Tea Party. If you do not know what stop action is, then click on the example of a YouTube clip of Tony vs. Paul.
October 4 – Starting to plan out what to do for my stop action film. My presentation is going to have the Americans getting frustrated at the British for raising the taxes up and then have a scene where it says December 16, 1773, and then it shows the American colonists dumping the loads of tea out into the Boston Harbor. I will plan to make this video at least 30 seconds long and see how I improve at this the next day.
October 5 – I decided that I was going to switch over to making a comic strip for my project because my camera having to unfortunately break the day I was going to use it. Anyways, my plan is to make a comic strip on the events that led to the Boston Tea Party occuring so people then will have background information on why the Boston Tea Party happened.
October 6 – I completed half of the comic strip, which is the part where the Tea Act occurs and the beginning to Samuel Adams and John Hancock’s plan to rebel against the British. I added the essential details to it and colored it as well. Tomorrow, I’m going to finish the project up with the second half of the comic strip colored and detailed just like the first half.
October 7 – The comic strip is officially complete! Hooray! I now am going to try to prepare myself to present my project to the class. I really am hoping I don’t mess up the presentation, which I usually do knowing how nervous I am. But I’ll be sure to try my best!

I have just learned that what makes you different is the unique characteristic about you because when you think, that’s the thing that entices people even more. For example, in a I watched, I learned that because it was only published on air once, that’s what made people think more and be interested. Let this give you a hint about the commercial I watched, I am extrodinarilly thankful for my computer and iPod.
